Thanksgiving Mass Please join

us for our Thanksgiving Day

Mass 9:30am

From The Desk of Fr. Dan

This Sunday we celebrate the feast of Christ the King which is the last Sunday in the Church’s liturgical year. Next week we will begin the season of Advent. Little Blue Books, devotional books for the season of Avent and Christmas, are available at our church entrances. These devotional books contain brief sixminute reflections based on the week- day gospels for our journey through the season of Ad- vent and Christmas.

Our Thanksgiving Day Mass will be at 9:30 A.M. this year. Mass on Friday, November 26 will be at 12:10 P.M.

I have included a Thanksgiving meal prayer in the bulle- tin that could be used at Thanksgiving gatherings.

If you have not yet signed up for our parish FLOCK- NOTE account you can sign up at the following at the following URL:

https://stchristophercatholicch3.flocknote.com/

FLOCKNOTE is a parish based email and text tool that allows us to keep in digital contact with our parishioners.

FLOCKNOTE is used to communicate parish information to all who have signed up. FLOCKNOTE lets you choose how you would like to receive information via email or text message. You can unsubscribe anytime as well.

Last week we received a check for $2,900.00 from the Marquette Area Catholic Education Fund (MACEF) for our Youth Ministry and Faith Formation programs. We are grateful for this contribution from MACEF to assist us as teach and form the youth of our parish in our Catholic faith.

Thank you to everyone who has pledged to the Upper Peninsula Catholic Services Appeal. UPSCA invites our participation in spreading the Good News of Jesus across the Upper Peninsula. If you have any questions about making an UPSCA pledge or questions about this year’s appeal, please don’t hesitate to contact me direct- ly. As always, we are asked to participate to the best of our means.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week and a happy

Thanksgiving.

Blessings, Fr. Dan

Thanksgiving Meal Prayer

Father in Heaven, Crea- tor of all and source of all goodness and life,

please look kindly upon us and receive our heartfelt gratitude in this time of giving and thanks.

Thank you for all the graces and blessings you have bestowed upon us: our faith, our food and shelter, our health, our family and friends.

We ask you to bless us during our Thanks- giving celebrations and to bless the food we are about to eat.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
