The seminar is being organized by the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) and the Association of Supervisors of Banks of the Americas (ASBA).

1. Request your training coordinator an access account for the Activities Manager at the following email: asba@asbasupervision.org

2. Once you have a username and password, access the Activities Manager through the following link www.asbaweb.net

3. Complete your profile and personal information.

4. Make your application to the selected course during the registration period.

5. For more information, download the User´s Manual from the Activities Calendar in the Association´s webpage.

4. RESERVATION PROCEDURES

Hotel and flight bookings, obtaining an entry visa, as well as any vaccinations whenever required, are responsibility of each participant.

6. TRANSPORTATION

 The International São Paulo/Guarulhos Airport (Governor Andre Franco Montoro) is 30 km away (1 hour) from the venue.

 It is safe to take a taxi in São Paulo´s airport. The estimated rate is R$ 160,00 (subject to the exchange rate of the day).

During the week of the seminar, temperature in São Paulo, will range between 69.8°F maximum and 50°F minimum.

8. VISA

Visa requirements vary according to the country of origin; thus, participants are advised to verify these requirements with their local Embassy or Consulate.

Please visit the above mentioned page to verify if the vaccine against yellow fever is required, because without the vaccination certificate, the participant may be retained at the airport. The participant must have been vaccinated at least 10 days before their trip and those who have been vaccinated more than 10 years ago require a boost.

9. CURRENCY

The official currency in Brazil is the Real (R$) with a variable exchange rate. Kindly refer to the following link in case you have any questions:

The exchange rates are referential, they vary according to the institution where the exchange is made.

If you wish to exchange currency, you can do it at the airport, some hotels and local banks (open on weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm). Only Reales are accepted in daily transactions.

7 10. DRESS CODE

The dress code for the opening and closure is formal. The rest of the days, business casual attire is permitted (jeans and tennis shoes are not allowed).

11. LANGUAGE

The official languages for the seminar are English and Spanish. Simultaneous interpretation service will be available during the sessions.
