RESOLUTION

CD4.R19

STAFF RULES: FIELD SERVICES ALLOWANCES

THE 4th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Considering that the provisions of World Health Organization Staff Rule 890 establish certain field

allowances; and

Considering that the desire for maintaining uniformity in conditions of service between the

personnel of the World Health Organization and that of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau working

in a common effort is a paramount necessity for the operation of field teams,

RESOLVES

1. To adopt World Health Organization Staff Rule 890 as an integral part of the Staff Rules of the

Pan American Sanitary Bureau.

2. To authorize the Director to place this Staff Rule in operation as soon as this can be reasonably

accomplished.
