RESOLUTIONS OF THE 21st WORLD HEALTH ASSEMBLY AND
42nd SESSION OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD OF THE WHO OF
INTEREST TO THE REGIONAL COMMITTEE
THE 18th DIRECTING COUNCIL,
Having considered Document CD18/14, in which the Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau
submitted to the Regional Committee for the Americas several resolutions of the Twenty-First
World Health Assembly and the Forty-Second Session of the WHO Executive Board; and
Taking into account that the Pan American Sanitary Bureau is already concerned with the subjects
referred to in the resolutions of the World Health Assembly and the WHO Executive Board,
RESOLVES
1. To take note of the following resolutions contained in Document CD18/14: WHA21.20 (Training
of National Health Personnel), WHA21.21 (Smallpox Eradication Program), WHA21.22 (Malaria
Eradication Program), WHA21.32 (Recommendations of the Ad Hoc Committee of Experts to
Examine the Finances of the United Nations and the Specialized Agencies: Progress report on
Drugs), WHA21.42 (Control Measures for Certain Dependence-Producing Drugs), WHA21.43
(Health Aspects of Population Dynamics), and EB42.R14 (Format and Contents of the Executive
Board's Report on the Annual Proposed Program and Budget Estimates).
