THE 10th DIRECTING COUNCIL,
Considering that the Pan American Zoonoses Center was established in 1956, in Azul, Argentina, to

has provided the premises and the funds for necessary alterations; and
Bearing in mind that the Center's program of activities includes services for training, consultation,
laboratory studies, research, demonstration, and information work that are of great importance in
the campaign against the zoonoses in this Hemisphere,
RESOLVES
1. To thank the Government of Argentina for its collaboration, which has made possible the
organization and development of the Pan American Zoonoses Center.
2. To reaffirm the interest of the Member Governments in the objectives pursued by the Center,
as reflected in the report presented by the Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau.
