RESOLUTION

CD14.R4

REPORT ON BUILDINGS AND INSTALLATIONS FOR

HEADQUARTERS

THE 14th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Considering the reports of the Executive Committee, of the Permanent Subcommittee on Buildings

and Installations, and of the Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau concerning the

construction of the permanent Headquarters building;

Noting with satisfaction that the contract has been awarded and that construction has commenced;

and

Noting that the W. K. Kellogg Foundation has made an additional grant of $1,250,000, which

brings the [over-all] grant to a total of $5,000,000,

RESOLVES

1.To express its thanks to the W. K. Kellogg Foundation for its generous additional grant and its

support of health programs in the Americas.

2.To express its thanks to the Permanent Subcommittee on Buildings and Installations for its work

3.To request the Director to report further on the program of construction to future meetings of the

Governing Bodies.
