SounDigital warrants the original purchaser that this product shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the original date of purchase. The warranty term is extended to twelve (12) months if installation is performed or approved by an authorized SounDigital dealer (requires proof of installation or approval required on purchase receipt).

This warranty is not transferrable and applies only to the original customer from an authorized SounDigital dealer.

Warranty is void when:

- Defect or problem caused by misuse of the product; - Incorrect installation or non-conformity with the Manual;

- Maintenance made by unauthorized personnel; - Alteration or removal of the seal/serial number; - Exposure to adverse conditions (weather, humidity, etc)

- Damage caused by fall or impact; - Damage caused by natural depreciation;

- Damage caused by transport and/or handling, risks, or smashings.

- Products was purchased more than 12 months ago. Warranty covers:

- Component or material with manufacturing defects; -Workmanship/service needed to repair the equipment.

If you need service on your SounDigital amplifier, send it (freight-prepaid) to SounDigital´s Amplifier Repair Center through an authorized SounDigital dealer (must be accompanied by proof of purchase).

- Any extra information you can get by contacting us at the e-mail address: info@soundigitalusa.com; - In case of manufacturing defect or bad quality of raw material, the max compensation will be the replacement of the product, not allowing any kind of compensation payment;

Instalação

Dimensionamento elétrico.

Para um correto funcionamento do seu amplificador Soundigital é necessário o dimensionamento adequado do sistema elétrico e dos cabos utilizados. O fusível / disjuntor de proteção deve ser instalado no máximo a 30cm da bateria.

Cuidado!

Secção do cabo de alimentação e terra 25mm² Para as conexões da bateria ao amplificador e ao

aterramento , utilize cabos de boa qualidade, preferencialmente de cobre. Cabos de CCAW deverão ter o dobro da secção.

Cuidado!

Antes de proceder com a instala-ção de qualquer equipamento elétrico no veículo, desligue o terminal negativo ( -) da bateria para evitar princípios de incêndio, ferimentos ao usuário ou danos ao amplificador.

Dicas de instalação

• O aterrameto deverá ser o mais curto possível e deve ser conectado ao chassis do veículo e ao negativo da bateria.

•Planeje a passagem dos fios de maneira adequada. Mantenha os cabos RCA juntos, porém distantes de cabos de alimentação ou de saída de audio e de equipamentos elétricos como centrais de injeção eletrônica, motores elétricos e etc.

• Ao passar fios em paredes metálicas, utilize O-ring´s de borracha a fim de evitar que os mesmos sejam cortados e provoquem curto circuito.

Remova a tinta entre o terminal e a lataria.

Nunca conecte ou desconecte os cabos RCA com o amplificador ligado, pois isto poderá danificar a unidade principal ou o amplificador.

Cuidado!

• Escolha um local arejado para a instalação do amplificador e evite que as janelas laterais de ventilação sejam obstruidas.

• Fixe o amplificador de maneira apropriada e firme. Evite a fixação em partes metálicas do veiculo, pois este procedimento pode causar ”looping” de terra (ruidos).

• Utilize alto falantes com potência e impedância compatíveis ao amplificador. Certifique-se que os ajustes dos filtros possam ser utilizados de forma à incrementar a performance dos mesmos.

Nunca conecte alto falantes ou associação dos mesmos com impedância inferior a impedância nominal do amplificador sob pena de danifica-lo.

Cuidado!

Muito cuidado ao fazer furos no veículo! Certifique-se de não furar o tanque de combustível, linhas de freio ou cabos elétricos do veículo. Cuidado!

•Os amplificadores Soundigital são microcontrolados e fazem um monitoramento eletrônico de todas as funções, oferecendo ao usuário dos mesmos informações através dos led´s instalados no painel superior. Segue a codificação destas informações: LED Azul

- Quando ligado constante, indica que o amplificador esta ligado.

- Quando o audio é cortado e este pisca 10 vezes, indica que a tensão de alimentação esta muito baixa (abaixo de 8,9V) ou muito alta (acima de 16V). LED Vermelho

- Quando este pisca durante a reprodução de audio, indica que a tensão de alimentação esta caindo abaixo de 9,5 volts.

- Quando o audio é cortado e este acende constante, indica que o amplificador esta em modo de proteção. por temperatura. Desligue o amplificador ate que este esteja em temperatura normal de uso.

- Quando o áudio é cortado e o LED pisca, significa que o amplificador apresentou algum defeito e deve ser encaminhado a um de nossos postos assistenciais.

LED Amarelo

- Durante a reprodução de áudio, faz o monitoramen-to da dismonitoramen-torção no som. Sempre que este acende ou pisca, os alto falantes estão recebendo sinal distorcido. Deve-se reduzir o ganho do amplificador ou volumeda unidade principal.

- Quando o audio é cortado e este pisca 10 vezes, indica que existe curto ou baixa impedância nos terminais de saída de audio.

Instalação

Antes de proceder com a instala-ção de qualquer equipamento elétrico no veículo, desligue o terminal negativo ( -) da bateria para evitar princípios de incêndio, ferimentos ao usuário ou danos ao amplificador.

• Para evitar ruídos indesejáveis ao sistema, una todos os pontos de aterramento dos equipamen-tos de audio em um ponto único.

• Após a finalização das conexões elétricas, conecte o negativo da bateria, e antes de acionar o sistema de áudio, certifique-se que o ajuste de ganho esta no mínimo.

• Para ajuste do ganho, posicione o volume da unidade principal em 70% do volume total, reproduzindo um programa musical da sua preferência, aumente gradativamente o ganho até que o LED “CLIP“ pisque. Retorne até a posição onde este para de piscar.

• Algumas unidade principais com tensão alta na saída RCA podem fazer com que a potência máxima seja atingida mesmo com o ganho posicionado próximo ao mínimo. Neste caso, limite o volume da unidade principal antes do ponto onde o LED “CLIP” começa a piscar.

A regulagem do ganho acima do ponto correto pode causar a queima dos alto falantes, ruidos ou o acionamento da proteção do amplificador.

Cuidado!

• Regule os filtros passa alta, passa baixa conforme seu gosto pessoal e necessidade dos alto falantes utilizados. Em caso de dúvida, consulte o fabricante dos alto falantes.

• Caso haja necessidade de incremento nos graves, regule a freqüência e ganho do “Bass Boost” conforme seu gosto pessoal. Certifique-se que o LED “CLIP’’ não será acionado com esta nova regulagem.

Unplug the negative (-) terminal of the battery before proceeding with any electrical installation in the vehicle to avoid fire starts, wounds or damage to the amplifier.

Be careful when drilling holes in the vehicle. Verify if you're not drilling holes in the fuel tank, brake lines or electrical cables of the vehicle.

N e v e r u s e s p e a k e r s w i t h impedance under the nominal impedance of the amplifier or you may damage it.

Gain positioning over the correct spot may cause noise, trigger protection state or damage to the speakers.

Use good quality cables (copper if possible) for the connections to the amplifier.

Installation Tips

The ground cable should be the shortest possible and should be connected to the chassis of the vehicle. The surface should be sanded at the contact point to create a clean, metal-to-metal connection between the chassis and the termination of the ground wire.

Keep the RCA cables together, but away from the power or the audio output cables and away from electric equipment such as electronic fuel injection centrals, electric engines, etc.

When passing cables through metallic walls, use rubber grommets to avoid damage to the cable and short circuits.

Choose a proper place to install the amplifier and avoid blocking the side ventilation panels.

Securely mount the amplifier so that it does not come loose in the event of a collision or a sudden jolt to the vehicle. Avoid mounting it on metallic parts of the vehicle, because it may cause an earth loop (you might have noise issues).

Use speakers accordingly to the power and impedance of the amplifier. Verify if the adjustment filters can be used to increase the performance of the equipment.

To avoid unwanted noise in the system, join the ground points of the equipment and audio output to only one point.

Adjust the Low and High pass filters according to your preference and needs of the speakers. If you have any doubts, talk to the speakers manufacturer.

If you need to increase the bass response, adjust the frequency and gain of the bass boost according to your preference. Make sure the “CLIP“ LED does not blink with the new setting.

After the end of the electrical installation, connect the negative cable of the battery and, before starting the audio system, check if all connections are correctly done.

In order to adjust the gain, use the headunit volume in 70% of its total, play a musical program of your preference and turn up the gain until the clip led blinks. Set the gain in a position where the “CLIP“ LED doesn't blink.

Some headunits with strong signal output may reach max power even when the gain is next to its minimum. In that case, limit the volume of the headunit right before the point where the clip led starts blinking. The Soundigital amplifiers are micro controlled and

have an electronic monitoring of all of their functions, offering useful information to the user through their leds.

- When constantly on, indicates the amplifier is working. - When the audio is cut off and it blinks 10 times, it indicates the eletric tension is under 8.9V or over 16v.

- When it blinks during the audio reproduction, it indicates the input tension is under 9.5 volts. - When the audio is cut off and the led is constantly on, it indicates the amplifier is in protection due to high temperature. Turn the amplifier off until it gets to its working temperature.

- When the audio is cut off and the LED blinks, it means it is defective and must be sent to one of our technical repair centers.

- During the audio reproduction, it makes the sound distortion monitoring. When it turns on, the speakers are receiving distorted signal. So, you should turn down the amplifier's gain or the headunit volume. - When the audio is cut off and it blinks 10 times, it means a short-circuit or low impedance in the audio output.
