Introdução ao Estudo da Guerra
I – Apresentação:
Os estudos estratégicos formam um campo interdisciplinar que procura explicar as diversas relações políticas e técnicas existentes entre os sistemas políticos (relações internacionais e provimento de ordem pública) e as organizações de força do Estado. Nesse curso, procuraremos refletir criticamente sobre a abrangência disciplinar dos Estudos Estratégicos nos dias de hoje, sobre a natureza da guerra como atividade social e política, sobre as dinâmicas combativas na guerra contemporânea e sobre a relação entre Forças Armadas e Políticas de Defesa.
II - Procedimentos didáticos:
Estão previstas quinze semanas de trabalho. Cada sessão consiste de uma exposição do professor sobre o tema relacionado no programa abaixo. Para cada tópico estão indicadas algumas leituras prioritárias. Espera-se a presença e a participação ativa dos estudantes no decorrer da aula. A bibliografia prioritária recomendada é de fácil acesso e mesmo os livros estrangeiros podem ser adquiridos pela Internet. A biblioteca da FAFICH conta com algum material de suporte. Os links apropriados na Internet serão indicados após o início do curso. Serão utilizados recursos
aprovado pelo professor. As datas das avaliações serão acertadas em acordo com a turma. Atraso na entrega de qualquer uma das três avaliações implicará em nota zero para aquela avaliação.
