We present the last issue of 2017 of CEFAC - Speech, Language, Hearing

Sciences and Education Journal. At the end of 2017, the board of ABRAMO -

Brazilian Association of Orofacial Motricity - concluded the publication of 90 scientiic articles, distributed in original articles, case reports, literature review articles and brief communications. The publications have increasingly portrayed the scientiic production of speech-language therapists and, in particular, of the Postgraduate programs in Speech-Language Therapy and Audiology in Brazil.

Fifteen articles are presented for issue 19(6), that is, 11 original articles and four review ones. They come from the Northeast, Southeast, South and North regions of Brazil and also from Portugal. Six articles are from the Audiology area, three from the Orofacial Motricity ield, while the Language and Public Health areas present two articles each, with contributions of one article per area in General Speech and Hearing Sciences and in the Voice area. This heterogeneity of regions and areas of knowledge has been a hallmark of CEFAC Journal.

For the next years, the goal is to seek new indexations, as well as to further expand the dissemination of CEFAC Journal´s publications in the main social networks, in order to strengthen the visibility of the journal within the scientiic community and make sure readers are provided with a more effective access.

We end up celebrating the Holiday Season thanking everyone who contributed to CEFAC Journal during this year and wishing colors, brightness, achievements and a good reading. For the coming year, we will be waiting for the articles of research groups in Speech-Language Therapy, Audiology and related areas spread in Brazil and abroad.
