An unexpected result is that the level of corruption in the country has a positive effect on the weight of necessity-driven entrepreneurship. Thus, necessity-driven entrepreneurs are less affected by the corruption aspect of the normative component.

Novelty

The purpose of the paper is to analyze the relationship between different elements of intellectual capital (IC) and financial performance in the Russian context. Therefore, the understanding of which elements of IC are most important in the Russian context is still very limited.

Methodology

Intellectual capital is considered a key element of value creation in the modern economy and this argument has been widely supported by empirical research, but mainly based on data from developed markets. In doing so, it contributes to the further development of IK theory by exploring its application in a different institutional and cultural context (according to May, Stewart, 2013).

Theory development of divestment decision- making 1 Bounded rationality

  • Real options theory
  • Theoretical Framework

A theory borrowed from finance that has been widely used to explain the divestment decision is the Real Options Theory. It is the most widely used theory in attempts to understand divestment decisions (Driouchi & Bennett, 2011), and it has been concluded that, when properly utilized, real options in decision making provide much better results for MNC .

Methodology and Results

As can be seen from Table 1, the decision to divest in three out of the five cases cannot be explained by a single theory, and this documentation is thus in line with the proposed theoretical framework. Certain aspects of these theories have implications for corporate management and decision-making in FD.

Five companies were selected, and secondary data sources such as public documents, media reports, financial reports, corporate newsletters, company archives and company websites were the basis from which we collected data on the companies' decision to divest. The initiative Volunteering@WU (Lernen macht Schule), is an example of the interdisciplinary service-learning approach. The Volunteering@WU initiative represents a successful experience of adopting American service-learning-based concept in the European university.

Evidence from Russian Companies

Principle?

Materials and data

The study is based on survey results of PPM systems in the context of organizational performance. Despite the large amount of publications in the field of performance measurement and management (Demartini, 2014), more than half of managers state that their performance management approach "does not foster either employee engagement or high performance" (Buckingham & Goodall, 2016, p. 12). and nearly 70 percent are evaluating or have recently updated these systems (Deloitte Consulting, 2014, p. 45).

  • Current understanding and research question
  • Contribution and practical implications

Initially, the concept of financial or speculative bubbles emerged in terms of asset pricing and market overvaluation, drawing on numerous published studies and historical evidence of enormous booms in financial markets. Thus, the use of a composite price index in terms of asset overpricing studies produces more practical and reliable evidence of speculative bubbles in emerging financial markets.

Contribution

This research provides a conceptual proposal of possible practical applications of the programming language in situations such as: notating business functions as "business code" algorithms and modular parts of business code that can be separated (as code chunks), to critique and co-work in different environments, applying efficient/inefficient coding criteria to business processes, applying object-oriented thinking to structuring business and business activities, expanding access to bigdata and software of the corporation (for example, business processes in Bitrix24). The current study represents the author's attempt to provide a relatively new conceptual approach to business teaching, creates opportunities for new research of things, such as business object-oriented language, business GitHub analog, etc.

Research aims

In order to address the aforementioned research gap, we aim to analyze the role of champions and advocacy in the emergence of industrial symbiosis. Our research design consists of a single case study of the phenomenon of industrial symbiosis in Finland in a data center owned by Yandex.

Case Study of Disruptive Innovation Festival

One of the research gaps is the mechanisms of knowledge creation during online conference, especially the dynamics of knowledge sharing behavior (Paulin, Suneson 2016). In our case, the processes of participation in conference webinars will be studied to understand knowledge sharing behavior and knowledge creation mechanisms.
