Scientific Programme
The official language of MISM is English. It will be used for all printed material and presentations.
No translation services will be provided. Saturday, July 1, is the arrival and registration day. The scientific program starts on Sunday, July 2, at 9:30. The program ends on Wednesday, July 5, at 16:00. All registered participants will get the program and the flash memory card with pdf file with abstracts at the conference desk. There are plenary lectures (45 min including discussion) starting at 9:30 every morning, followed by parallel sessions with invited talks (30 min including discussion), invited reports (15 min including discussion), and oral reports (15 min including discussion). The poster contributions should be presented on display from 11:30 till 14:00 and from 17:30 till 19:30.
Proceedings
All authors of talks and poster presentations are welcome to submit the full-length paper for Open access volume of EPJ Web of Conferences (EDP Sciences ) (indexed in WoS and Scopus). All invited papers will be published in Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials (Elsevier).
Registration Fees on Site
The standard registration fee of Participant is 400 €. Note that meals, hotel accommodation, Conference Dinner and cultural program are not included in the registration fee. The registration fee of students (100 €) and accompanying persons (50 €) does not include proceedings.
The Organizers have an agreement with the Russian Foundation for Basic Research about financial support for participants from Russia. The registration fee for participants with Russian affiliation is reduced: Participants - 5000 Rubles, Students and PhD students - 3000 Rubles. The reduced fee does not include proceedings.
Meal
The price of the lunch is in a range 4-8 €. During MISM the small cafeteria will work on the second floor near Central Hall. There are students restaurants in the main building on the second floor (sector A), and ground floor (sectors Б (B) and B(V)). Lunches are available at cafeterias and restaurants of the University campus (see map).
Payment
All payments in Moscow should be made in Russian Rubles. The registration fee can be paid on site during the conference (only cash Euro, US dollars or Rubles will be accepted, NO credit cards).
Foreign currencies are easily exchanged to Russian Rubles at exchange agencies in many places in the city, including University campus.
Internet access
The Wi-Fi access will be available in two large auditoriums - Central Hall and North Hall with login mism2017 password 1234567890. The computers for work with presentations and access to Internet will be available in the room 5-42 from 12:00 till 17:00.
Conference Dinner and Cultural Program
We are pleased to welcome you to the Conference Dinner on 3 July at Restaurant Durdin (address:
Michurinsky prospect, 8) located near University (price 50€). The sightseeing tour around Moscow by bus, guide tour around Kremlin, theaters and museums should be booked preliminary. The special cultural program in the MSU campus (Botanic garden, MSU museum) for accompanying persons could be organized (please contact the conference help desk with requests).
Climate
Expected daytime temperatures in period of MISM-2017 vary between 17 and 27 °C. The
possibility of rainy weather cannot be excluded.
