Based on numerous research papers and reports published by renowned experts, the article provides several examples of the prevalence of food allergies in children and adults. An attempt has been made to clarify the role of food allergy in the structure of allergic pathology. Coronary artery ectasia in Noonan syndrome: Report of an individual with an SOS1 mutation and review of the literature. The connection between these two diseases has not been sufficiently studied and requires a detailed investigation, including not only the clinical and morphological manifestations of their combination, but also the prognosis regarding the accompanying pathology in patients.
The paper presents the death case of a patient with pathomorphologically confirmed type B1 thymoma in connection with myasthenia. The patient's medical history included acute and recurrent myocardial infarction, which was not confirmed by the pathomorphological study. Apparently, clinical signs of myocardial infarction appeared as a manifestation of myasthenia or its specific treatment.
Physicians should exercise caution when treating patients with myasthenia gravis who may develop myocardial infarction. Early recognition of clinical signs of myocardial infarction, other than by electrocardiography, must be confirmed by laboratory parameters and is crucial for immediate treatment, as well as for the prevention of cardiovascular complications in the future.
