O conhecimento dos professores da rede pública e dos acadêmicos da amostra sobre o manejo do traumatismo dento-alveolar foi considerado insuficiente. Não foi verificada diferença significativa entre as variáveis sociodemográficas e o conhecimento sobre traumatismo dento-alveolar entre os acadêmicos. Não foi verificada diferença significativa das variáveis sociodemográficas e aquelas relacionadas à formação profissional com o conhecimento sobre o manejo do traumatismo dento-alveolar entre os professores da rede pública de ensino, com exceção da variável treinamento em primeiros socorros sobre traumatismos bucais.
