8.4 Sugestões para investigações futuras

Com o objetivo de estender os estudos iniciados por esta pesquisa, algumas sugestões para investigações futuras podem ser de grande valia para a ampliação do tema.

Em primeiro lugar, encoraja-se a utilização do método de modelos de equações estruturais para estudo das organizações de grande porte do COMAER, buscando identificar relações de causalidade de outras variáveis, tais como a cultura organizacional e a inovação, sobre as práticas de sustentabilidade.

Outra sugestão de pesquisa possível seria investigar, sob um paradigma qualitativo, quais são os fatores que condicionam as práticas sustentáveis nas organizações do COMAER. Tal pesquisa permitiria identificar quais são as maiores dificuldades e os fatores críticos de sucesso na implementação da sustentabilidade nas organizações militares.

E por último, seria interessante investigar os processos de mudança organizacional nas unidades militares, utilizando métodos mistos de pesquisa. Seria muito útil para o estudo da Gestão identificar como se processam as mudanças organizacionais em diferentes tipos de organizações do meio militar, tais como escolas de formação, hospitais e bases aéreas.
