Your phone can be connected to an IBS, IP-xBS or IP-Dect radio base station, depending on the company's phone system. The labels and icons displayed on your phone depend on the system you are connected to and may differ from those specified in this document. Access MENU: press the 'OK' key to directly open the menu associated with the status of the device (depending on the selected status icon - voicemail, missed call, ringing...).

To have a fully functional 8254 DECT handset, make sure you have the following items with your handset: battery, AC/DC adapter and power supply. Finish installing the battery in its compartment by pressing as shown in the drawing (B).

This feature is available if the ringtone shortcut option is enabled in the device settings (see: adjusting your phone features). AGC: Activate or deactivate the automatic gain control to improve the sound according to the quality of the audio signal (On / Off). The system is selected when the signal strength is above a certain level and the registration matches. Depending on the type of system in question, registration may require one or more additional operations on the system.

During registration phase, to improve security and optimize registration in a multi-system environment, the mobile enforces a minimum signal strength level to accept to register with a base station. To achieve the conditions, it is recommended to perform registration in a location where a base station is in direct visibility within a 20 m distance. The system is selected when the signal strength is above a certain level and registration matches.

Your phone complies with the E-GAP/GAP standard and can be used as described in this section. This chapter describes the features when connected to an OXO Connect IP-DECT radio base station or a. Some features such as conferencing are not available when connected to an IP-Dect radio base station.

Unless otherwise specified, the features described below are available on your phone in combination with the mandatory features provided by your fixed GAP system. This telephone feature allows you to move between radio relay units without any interruption in communication. However, this facility is dependent on the inherent limitations of the fixed system, particularly its ability to manage multiple radio relays.

When you receive a call, the display shows the caller's number or name, if this function is provided by the fixed system.

Phone description

Short press: Increase the ringtone volume during an incoming call (8 steps) or increase the earpiece or speaker volume during a call (8 steps).
