Workplace: Instituto de Ciências Sociais of the Universidade de Lisboa.
Scientific supervision: The grantee's supervision will be provided by Dra. Maria Eugénia Rodrigues, Chefe de Divisão de Gestão de I&D e Formação Avançada and Dra. Maria Goretti Matias, Coordenadora of the Serviço de Gestão Académica.
Duration of the grant: The grant will have a duration of a year, renewable up to the limits established in article 6 of the FCT Regulation or the Regulation of the Universidade de Lisboa.
Monthly subsidy and Social Security:
- The amount of the subsidy will be € 1,000 (one thousand euros), paid monthly by bank transfer.
- The grantee may exercise his/her right to social security, by joining the voluntary social insurance regime, under the terms provided for in the Estatuto do Bolseiro de Investigação, with ICS-ULisboa assuming the charges resulting from the contributions provided for in that
document.
Eligibility criteria
Selection methods and their valuation:
- The applicable selection methods will be curricular evaluation and a selection interview.
- The selection interview will be held with the five candidates with the best marks in the curricular evaluation, provided they score 4.5 points or more.
- The selection of the candidates will be made according to the terms of reference expressed in number 2 of this Notice:
a) Curriculum evaluation, in view of the nature of the specific work to be developed in the Serviço de Gestão Académica, valued from 1 to 10 points (50%);
b) Letter of Motivation, referred to in 13.2, paragraph c), valued at 1 to 10 points (20%);
c) Other factors considered relevant, namely research experience in the field of education and teaching, and dissemination (publications), valued at 1 to 10 points (10%);
d) Selection interview for evaluation of professional and behavioural competencies, valued at 1 to 10 points (20%).

impediments), Dra. Maria Goretti Matias, Coordenadora of the Serviço de Gestão Académica (2nd Effective Member), Dra. Andrea Rojão Silva (1st Substitute Member) and Dra. Mafalda Vieira (2nd Substitute Member).
Selection process
Applications must be sent by email to recrutamentos@ics.ulisboa.pt, obligatorily indicating the reference “Research Grant Call no. 14/2022”), otherwise it will not be considered in the call.
- Applications must be accompanied, under penalty of exclusion, with the following documents.
No document, which must be submitted at the time of application, may be presented after the deadline for submission:
a) Personal Data Form and Declaration of Consent to Communicate the Results via e-mail (see form attached);
b) Detailed and updated Curriculum Vitae;
c) Motivation Letter justifying interest in the research project theme and the skills with which you think you can contribute to the project;
d) Proof of enrolment in a Master's programme in education, teaching, or education and training, or other related fields;
e) Document(s) proving that the applicant meets the conditions required for the type of grant, namely qualification certificate(s) of the required academic degree(s), with final average grades, or proof that he/she has already applied for the respective certificate(s);
Offer Requirements
f) If the undergraduate degree, required in the present Notice for admission, was obtained abroad, you must submit one of the following documents: - Document proving the granting, by a Portuguese Institution, of the recognition or equivalence or registration of the academic degree; or - Document proving that you have already applied for the recognition of the degree, which application must be submitted by the deadline for applications, inclusive;
g) The presentation of the proof of having obtained the academic degree recognition or equivalence or registration is a mandatory condition for signing the contract;
h) For academic degrees obtained in foreign countries, which have not yet obtained either the recognition or the equivalence or the registration of the degree, it is necessary to recognize it, under the terms foreseen in Decree-Law no. 66/2018, of 16 August, combined with Ordinance no. 33/2019, of 25 January.

Skills/Qualifications
The activities to be developed include:
a) technical management of advanced training activities – doctorate, master’s and post- graduation programmes;
b) promotion of networking and partnership networks, and national and internal cooperation in advanced training;
c) support the development of the ERASMUS+ programme;
d) collection, treatment, and analysis of data pertaining to masters and doctorate students at ICS, namely through questionnaires;
e) production of technical and scientific documents for institutional propagation;
f) accompany and support students in their advanced training activities; g) manage the area referring to the Serviço de Gestão Académica on the ICS website.
Specific Requirements
Candidates must have as mandatory requirements:
a) Enrolment in a Master's programme in education, teaching, or education and training;
b) Undergraduate degree in languages, literatures, and cultures, education and training, or translation;
c) Interest in developing a dissertation on themes revolving around education and teaching;
d) Good knowledge of English and Portuguese (spoken and written);
e) Immediate availability. If the undergraduate degree required in this Notice as an admission requirement was obtained abroad, you must take into consideration what is mentioned in item 13 of this Notice regarding qualification certificates.
Candidates must have as preferential requirements:
a) Experience in field of higher education, namely in master’s and doctorate programmes, and post-graduation programmes;
b) Experience in using the FenixEdu platform and others such as RENATES;
c) Experience in reception/integration of foreign students;
d) Experience researching in the fields of education, teaching and training.
