SELECTION OF TOPICS OF THE TECHNICAL DISCUSSIONS
DURING THE XVIII MEETING OF THE DC, XX MEETING OF THE
REGIONAL COMMITTEE OF THE WHO FOR THE REGION OF
THE AMERICAS
THE 17th DIRECTING COUNCIL,
Bearing in mind the provisions of Rules 1, 2, and 7 of the Rules for Technical Discussions,
RESOLVES
1. To select the topic "Participation of the Health Sector in Population Policy" for the Technical
Discussions to be held during the XVIII Meeting of the Directing Council, XX Meeting of the
Regional Committee of the World Health Organization for the Americas.
2. To invite the Executive Committee to review the "Rules for Technical Discussions at Meetings of
the Pan American Sanitary Conference and of the Directing Council" and to submit its suggestions
to the XVIII Meeting of the Directing Council.
