RESOLUTION

CD27.R5

REPORT ON THE PAHO AWARD FOR ADMINISTRATION, 1980

THE 27th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having reviewed the report of the Award Committee of the PAHO Award for Administration and

Resolution XXIII of the 84th Meeting of the Executive Committee (Document CD27/20 and

Annexes); and

Bearing in mind the regulations set forth in the procedure governing the PAHO Award for

Administration and the modifications thereto proposed in Resolution XXIII of the 84th Meeting of

the Executive Committee,

RESOLVES

1. To declare Dr. Jair de Oliveira Soares of Brazil the winner of the PAHO Award for

Administration, 1980.

2. To approve the proposed modifications to the procedure governing the PAHO Award for

Administration contained in operative paragraph 3 of Resolution XXIII of the 84th Meeting of the

Executive Committee.
