RESOLUTION

CD25.R31

PAN AMERICAN CENTERS

THE 25th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having examined the document on the institutions designated "Pan American Centers" (Document

CD25/29 and annexes); and

Taking due account of the opinions expressed by the representatives in the Directing Council,

RESOLVES

1. To request the Director to prepare a detailed study of the institutions designated "Pan American

Centers" and to draw up draft standards and conditions to be met by national research and teaching

centers in order to be admitted as Associated Centers collaborating with the Organization.

2. To request the Director to submit the results of these two studies to the 80th Meeting of the

Executive Committee and the XX Pan American Sanitary Conference.
