ANNUAL REPORT OF THE DIRECTOR
THE 27th DIRECTING COUNCIL,
Having examined the Annual Report of the Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau,
Regional Office of the World Health Organization for the Americas, for 1979 (Official Document
171); and
Bearing in mind the provisions of Article 9.C of the Constitution of the Pan American Health
Organization,
RESOLVES
1. To approve the Annual Report of the Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau for 1979
(Official Document 171), to commend the Director for the numerous accomplishments and
improvements, and to extend this commendation to all the staff of the Bureau.
2. To urge the Director to make abundant use of the Annual Report, and the many relevant items
therein, in WHO and other forums as substantial testimony to the significant health cooperation
taking place in the Region of the Americas.
