THE 12nd DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having examined the Annual Report of the Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau,

Regional Office of the World Health Organization for the Americas, for 1959 (Official Documents

Nº 34),

RESOLVES

To take note of the Annual Report of the Director, congratulating him and the staff of the Bureau on

the brilliance and comprehensiveness of that report, which not only clearly outlined the work of the

Organization but also enunciated the health problems of the Hemisphere and indicated the path to

their solution in a most commendable manner.
