My English Grammar constitui um auxiliar de referência na tua aprendizagem do inglês de 2.º Ciclo.
Tens aqui mais uma oportunidade de aprofundares os teus conheci-mentos acerca da gramática da língua inglesa, através das sistemati-zações dos conteúdos gramaticais de Ciclo, acompanhadas de regras em português, bem como das traduções e exemplos em língua inglesa.

1.I (1.ª pessoa do singular) – escreve-se sempre com letra
maiúscula, mesmo quando está no meio de uma frase.
2.YOU (2.ª pessoa do singular) – usa-se tanto no singular como
no plural (tu/vós).
3.Terceiras pessoas do singular: HE – usa-se no masculino (ele) •
SHE – usa-se no feminino (ela) • IT – usa-se quando nos
referimos a objetos ou a animais no singular (ele/ela).
4.THEY – usa-se para o masculino e feminino e quando nos
referimos a objetos, a pessoas ou animais no plural.

Mas: palavras que terminam em -o, e que fazem o plural de forma regular acrescenta-se um -s ao singular.
• Há nomes que formam o seu plural de forma irregular.

Há algumas exceções a estas regras que vais ter de aprender.
Em inglês, para flexionar no plural, à maior parte dos nomes, acrescenta-se um -s à sua forma do singular.

Se o nome está no plural regular (terminação em -s), acrescenta-se simplesmente um ‘ (apóstrofo).
