Introduzir nova alternativa para a atribuição de papers a revisores. Nessa alternativa, o general chair pode fazer a atribuição dos papers utilizando uma abordagem em lote; ou seja, fazendo a carga de um arquivo com a atribuição dos papers. O cenário exemplificado abaixo corresponde a um produto configurado com essa alternativa de atribuição de papers (nome da feature = Bulk Assignement). Os passos em destaque são associados a esse comportamento.

Scenario 03 Assign papers to reviewers

Scenario Description: This scenario allows the general chair to start the process of assigning papers to the

members of the program committee. This scenario is configured according to the paper distribution process, which might be based on the explicit preferences of the member, by an inference rule engine, or by the upload of the distribution assignment data.

1 The general chair selects the Assign

Papers to Reviewers option in the

main menu.

The system retrieves and shows the list of submitted papers. The number of reviewers assign to each paper is shown to the general chair.

2 - The system asks the general chair to upload a

file with the distribution of papers to reviewers. An exemplar file must be available to

download. 3 The general chair uploads the file with

the assignment distribution. The system verifies that the uploaded file is syntactically correct.

4 - The system updates the assignment of papers

to reviewers, according to the data present in the uploaded file.

5 The general chair selects the Check

Distribution of Papers option. The system verifies that all papers have been assigned to at least three reviewers and that each reviewer have been assigned to a uniformly distribution of papers. If any fault is found, the system will not allow the program chair to close the assignment and this process repeat until all constraints have been solved. 6 The general chair selects the Close

Assignment of Papers option. The system sends the evaluation forms and URLS of assigned papers to each reviewer. 7 The general chair selects the Close

8 The system starts the period of paper

evaluation, allowing the members of the program committee to send their revisions.

Exclusão da feature que permite detectar conflitos de interesse automaticamente. Para representar o comportamento da linha de produtos atendendo essa solicitação de mudança, é necessário copiar os cenários impactados por essa feature e incluir uma notação identificando se os cenários como um todo foram excluídos ou apenas alguns passos relacionados. No caso da abordagem SVCM, também é necessário excluir as referências a essa feature no modelo de configuração.

Introduzir o suporte opcional a campos customizados para a submissão de artigos. Para esta solicitação de mudança, estamos interessados apenas no efeito que a mesma requer para submissão de arquivos

considerando campos customizados. O comportamento associado a essa feature é descrito no cenário

abaixo.

O cenário ilustrado a seguir pertence a um produto configurado com as seguintes features relacionadas:  File Type = (PDF, DOC)

Scenario 01 Submit a Paper

Scenario Description: This scenario allows authors to submit their papers. It can be configured according to

optional fields (abstract, conflict of interest, and so on), the accepted format of papers, and post submission processes (such as auto validation).

The system asks the main author to create an authentication profile (that requires an email address and password).

and asks him to inform - the paper's title, and

9 - The system asks the main author to upload the

paper in one of the valid formats (PDF, DOC) 10 The main author uploads the file

corresponding to the submitted version of the paper.

The system updates the paper's submission with the uploaded file.

11 - The system presents a summary of the

submission and sends a message to the paper's authors.

Alterar o comportamento opcional relacionado com o preenchimento de conflito de interesses durante a submissão de artigos. De acordo com essa solicitação de mudança, exemplificada no cenário abaixo, o autor principal deve apresentar um comentário para cada conflito reportado. 7 - The system asks the main author to upload the paper

in one of the valid formats (PDF, DOC). 8 The main author uploads the file

corresponding to the submitted version of the paper.

The system updates the paper's submission with the uploaded file.

Introduzir o suporte obrigatório ao envio de resumos para os membros do comitê interessados nos tópicos de pesquisa de um determinado artigo submetido. O comportamento associado é descrito nos fluxos abaixo, alterados pela inclusão desta feature obrigatória. Note que, conforme descrito nos cenários a seguir, essa feature requer atualização em todos os cenários que permitem a submissão de artigos (seja ela feita on-line ou offline). Os passos associados a essa mudança estão destacados.

Scenario 02 Off-line submission of papers

Scenario Description: This optional scenario allows authors to submit their papers in the offline mode. It is

available in products that do not require extended data (such as abstract of conflicts). Before starting this scenario, an author must download and fill the electronic form to be uploaded together with the version of the paper.

The system asks the main author to create an authentication profile (that requires an email address and password).

2 The main author informs the email

address and password. The system creates the author authentication profile, and asks him to upload both electronic form and paper.

3 The main author uploads the requested files.

The system extracts from the electronic form the submission data.

4 - The system creates a conventional

submission of the paper.

5 - The system presents a summary of the

submission and sends a message to the paper's authors.

6 - The system retrieves the members of the

program committee that are interested in the paper’s related topics.

7 - For each retrieved member of the program

committee, the system sends a message with the paper abstract.

Introduzir o suporte opcional a lista de discussões para auxiliar na revisão de artigos. Esse comportamento opcional é iniciado no momento em que a distribuição de artigos para revisores é concluída, criando listas de discussão envolvendo os revisores de cada paper. O comportamento associado é descrito nos fluxos abaixo, alterados pela inclusão desta feature opcional (Forum). Note que, conforme descrito nos

cenários a seguir, essa feature requer atualização em todos os cenários que permitem a distribuição de papers para os revisores (seja essa distribuição automática ou não). O cenário exemplificado

abaixo corresponde a um produto com atribuição manual de papers a revisores (Preference Base). Adicionalmente, os passos introduzidos por essa mudança estão em destaque.

Scenario 03 Assign papers to reviewers

Scenario Description: This scenario allows the general chair to start the process of assigning papers to the

members of the program committee. This scenario is configured according to the paper distribution process, which might be based on the explicit preferences of the member or by an inference rule engine.

2 The general chair selects a specific

paper. The system retrieves the reviewers that have previously informed interest in the research topics of the paper. The number of papers that has already been assigned to each reviewer is shown.

3 The general chair selects one of the reviewers and click on the Assign option.

The system assigns the paper to the selected reviewer. The process may be repeated until the general chair selects the option check distribution of papers.

4 The general chair selects the Check

Distribution of Papers option. The system verifies that all papers have been assigned to at least three reviewers and that each reviewer have been assigned to a uniformly distribution of papers. which papers a forum should be created. 7 The general chair selects the list of

papers that might have the reviewing process enhanced by a forum.

The system creates a forum for each selected paper, adding the corresponding reviewers as participants.

8 - The system starts the period of paper

evaluation, allowing the members of the program committee to send their revisions.
