A l i m e n t a ç ã o n a s B a s e s d e V i d a

As várias provas deste evento realizam-se em semi-autonomia, sendo fundamental que cada atleta se faça acompan-har por uma quantidade mínima de calorias e líquidos, de forma a satisfazer as suas necessidades entre bases de vida/abastecimentos.

Nas bases de vida/abastecimentos estarão sempre disponíveis os seguintes alimentos:

laranja, banana, batata frita, bolachas/biscoitos variados, barras energéticas, frutos secos, canja, sal, água, co-ca-cola e isotónico.

Para além destes teremos outros alimentos que variarão ao longo das bases de vida:

sopa, massas variadas, presunto/queijo, pão, aletria, bolos, melancia/melão, tomate, carnes grelhadas...

Informamos também que os abastecimentos líquidos não serão fornecidos através de garrafas nem de copos plásti-cos. Cada atleta é responsável por levar consigo o (s) recipiente (s) que julguem mais adequado (s) para a sua hi-dratação (preferencialmente servindo também para bebidas quentes).

À entrada nas Bases de Vida e abastecimentos é obrigatória a desinfeção das mãos e o uso de máscara de proteção durante a permanência nas mesmas. São aconselhados todos os participantes a manter o distanciamento social de 2m e fazer a lavagem eficaz das mãos sempre que possível.

Apenas para os participantes no TPG 165Km será permitido ter o apoio de um elemento externo nas bases de vida. O elemento externo deverá entrar ao mesmo tempo que o atleta nas Bases de Vida/Abastecimentos para poder prestar o apoio.

Os elementos externos devem obedecer às mesmas regras de segurança que os participantes: uso obrigatório de más-cara durante a permanência na Base de Vida/Abastecimentos, desinfeção das mãos e distanciamento social.

Apenas os elemntos do STAFF tocarão nos recepientes da comida e bebidas disponibilizadas. Os atletas não devem tocar nos recipientes e apenas indicarem o que pretendem.

Cada participante poderá deixar com a organização um saco com os seus pertences individuais e o material que irá necessitar ao longo da prova.

Esse saco deverá ser entregue à organização antes da partida, devidamente identificado com cartão que será forneci-do no levantamento forneci-do forneci-dorsal, e será transportaforneci-do entre as Bases de Vida/abastecimentos pela organização.

O apoio aos atletas por elementos externos à organização é permitido em qualquer ponto do percurso. Aconselha-se os participantes a ter consigo algum dinheiro para que se possam abastecer nos cafés das aldeias por onde vão passar.

Ainda assim, é importante que o atleta tenha noção das suas necessidades durante a prova, assim como da sua ca-pacidade de resolução dos problemas perante situações inesperadas.

u l t r a p a s s a g e n s

Durante a prova os atletas poderão efetuar ultrapassagens desde que as mesmas não coloquem em risco a sua integ-ridade e a dos seus concorrentes, tendo o cuidado de a sinalizar, devendo manter sempre um afastamento de 2 metros do atleta a ser ultrapassado. Os atletas ultrapassados devem facilitar a manobra de ultrapassagem, enco-stando-se ao máximo ou parando se necessário.

T e r m o d e r e s p o n s a b i l i d a d e

Tendo em conta as orientações da DGS no combate à COVID-19, no ato do levantamento do dorsal será solicitado a cada participante a assinatura de um Termo de Responsabilidade, no qual assumirá o seguinte:

• Que leu e aceita na integra o presente regulamento;

• Que tem capacidade física e psicológica para participar neste tipo de evento; • Que não apresenta sintomatologia suspeita de infeção por COVID-19;

• Que não teve contacto com caso confirmado ou provável de infeção por SARS-Cov2 ou Covid-19 nos últimos 14 dias. O Termo de Responsabilidade deve ser impresso, devidamente assinado e entregue no secretariado no ato do levanta-mento do dorsal.

Em função do Estado da Pandemia na data de realização da prova e das restrições impostas a organização orientará a forma de realizar a partida, tendo em conta as regras de segurança impostas pelas autoridades de saúde.

O uso de máscara facial é obrigatório na partida e até 400m após a mesma, podendo depois ser retirada em local que estará devidamente assinalado.

O relógio iniciará a contagem no momento estabelecido, com ou sem a presença dos participantes. À chegada, após cortar a meta, todos os participantes são obrigados a colocar novamente a máscara de proteção.

Alertamos todos os participantes no TPG “Corrida dos 4 Castelos” para o facto de que o percurso da prova desenro-la-se dentro da área do Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerês e das aldeias limítrofes, pelo que é indispensável que todos adoptem um comportamento de máximo respeito pela Natureza e pelas populações com as quais se cruzarão.

Apelamos a que recolham todos os vossos lixos, não causem danos em passagens ou em propriedades privadas e públicas e não deixem portões ou cancelas abertas que levem a fuga ou saída indevida dos animais.

Tenham também em atenção que se poderão cruzar com animais selvagens, com animais domésticos em pastoreio, com cães domésticos com ou sem açaime ou com cães vadios.

Recomendamos aos atletas das provas mais longas que correrão durante o período da noite para não o fazerem soz-inhos. Procurem fazer-se acompanhar por algum atleta em competição.

Cerimónia de entrega de prémios: irá realizar-se no dia 5 de Junho, iniciando pelas 13h, junto ao Castelo de egre, caso as condições metereológicas assim o permitam. Caso contrário será feita no Pavilhão Multiusos de Montal-egre.

Relembramos que na modalidade TPG 165Kms Relay/Estafetas, cada equipa de 3 elementos poderá definir a sua estratégia decidindo quantos e quais quilómetros cada elemento da equipa fará.

No percurso do TPG 165Km Non-stop e Relay, os primeiros 60 kms estarão apenas pré-marcado em viragens ou em locais de difícil orientação, sendo que será obrigatório ter um GPS para seguir o track fornecido pela organização.

Conforme previsto na Lei Portuguesa, a organização do TransPeneda-Gerês garante a todos os participantes um seguro de acidentes pessoais. As coberturas do referido seguro são as seguintes:

Condições Especiais:

A franquia a aplicar na cobertura de Despesas de Tratamento e Repatriamento é um valor suportado pelo sinistra-do/Pessoa Segura por sinistro/acidente, a deduzir em despesas apresentadas por este, ou a solicitar ao mesmo caso nos seja faturado diretamente pelas entidades hospitalares, sejam estas pertencentes, ou não, ao Sistema Nacional de Saúde.

Idade Limite de Permanência: 70 Anos Franquias:

- Franquia absoluta de 10% na cobertura de Invalidez Permanente

- Franquia por pessoa/ sinistro de 90,00 na cobertura de Despesas de Tratamento, o pagamento desta franquia é da responsabilidade do atleta.

Racing in semi-autonomy will be the rule, which means that the athletes must run with a minimum amount of calories and liquids, in order to satisfy their needs between Aid stations. In the Aid Stations will always be available the fol-lowing food and drinks:

orange, banana, chips, biscuits, energy bars, nuts, chicken soup, salt, water, coca-cola and isotonic. In addition to these the organization will have other food that will vary over the Aid Stations:

vegetables soup, pasta, ham / cheese, bread, sweet pasta, cakes, watermelon/melon, tomatoes, grilled meats ... Please be advised that liquids will not be supplied in bottles or plastic cups. Each athlete is responsible for taking with them the container(s) they deem most suitable for their hydration.

Hands disinfection is mandatory at the entrance of the Aid Stations/Refreshment posts and the use of a face mask during the stay in it. All participants are advised to maintain a social distance of 2m and to do effective hand washing whenever possible.

Only for TPG 165Km’s participant will be allowed to have the support of an external helper in the Aid Stations. The ex-ternal helper should enter inside the Aid Stations/Refreshment post at the same time as the athlete, to be able to support the athlete.

The external helpers are obliged to follow the same safety rules as the participants: mandatory use of a face mask while in the Aid Stations, hands disinfection and social 11 distance.

Each participant will be able to leave with the organization one bag with their individual belongings and the gear they will need throughout the race.

This bag must be delivered to the organization before start, duly identified with a card that will be provided in the secretariat, and will be transported between the Aid Stations by the organization.

E x t e r n a l h e l p

External help is allowed at any point along the route. Participants are advised to have some money with them so that they can stock up at the cafes in the villages where they will pass.

Still, it is important that the athletes are aware of their needs during the race, as well as their ability to solve prob-lems in unexpected situations.

s t a r t l i n e

According to the Pandemic situation on the date of the event and the restrictions imposed by then the organization will guide the athletes through the race’s Start details, following the safety rules imposed by the health authorities. The use of a face mask is mandatory in the START area and up to 400m after it. It can then be removed in a place properly signed.

The clock will start counting at the set time, with or without the participant's presence.

Upon arrival, after cutting the finish line, all participants are required to put on the face mask again.

o v e r t a k i n g

During the race, athletes will be able to overtake as long as they do not put their and other competitors’ integrity at risk, taking care to signal it and always keep a distance of 2 meters from the athlete to be overtaken. Athletes being overtaken should facilitate the overtaking maneuver by leaning as far as possible or stopping if necessary.

D e c l a r a t i o n o f A g r e e m e n t

Taking into account the Health Authorities guidelines regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic, each participant will be asked to sign a Declaration Agreement, in which he/she will assume the following:

• That has read and accepted the race’s regulation in its entirety;

• That has the physical and psychological capacity to participate in this type of event; • That does not have any suspected symptoms of COVID-19 infection;

• That had no contact with a confirmed or probable case of SARS-Cov2 or Covid-19 infection in the last 14 days. The Declaration of Agreement must be printed, duly signed (legible signature) and delivered at the secretariat. The link for the Declaration of Agreement:

We alert all participants in the TPG “Race of the 4 Castles” to the fact that this race takes place within the area of the Peneda-Gerês National Park and the neighboring villages. So it is essential that every participant adopts a re-spectful behavior with Nature and that area's populations.

We remind you to collect all your waste along the course, do not cause damage to passages or on private and public properties and do not leave gates open that might lead to the escape or improper exit of animals.

Please also be aware that you may cross paths with wild animals, domestic animals grazing, domestic dogs with or without muzzles or stray dogs.

We recommend to the longer races’ participants that will run during the night, not to do it alone. You should do it ac-companied by another participant.

The Prize Giving Ceremony will be held on the 5th June, around 01pm, near the finish line, if the weather conditions allow it. Otherwise it will be held at the Montalegre’s Multiusos pavilion.

We remember that for TPG 165Kms relay: each team will define its strategy and the elements will decide how many and what kilometers each element will do. It will be necessary to pass the GPS tracker between the team elements every time one of them starts another part of the course.

The first 60 Km of the TPG 165Km course will only be pre-marked at turns or in places of difficult orientation, and it will be mandatory to have a GPS to follow the track provided by the organization.

P e r s o n a l A c c i d e n t I n s u r a n c e

As stated in the Portuguese law, the TransPeneda-Gerês 165km organization guarantees all participants a personal accident insurance. The coverage of this insurance is as follows:

Coverage:

Death - € 28,530.00

Permanent Disability - € 28,530.00

Treatment and Repatriation Expenses - € 4,590.00 Funeral expenses - € 2,290.00 Special conditions:

The deductible to be applied in the coverage of Treatment and Repatriation Expenses is an amount borne by the victim / Insured Person per claim / accident, to be deducted in expenses presented by the victim, or to be requested to him/her if the expenses are billed directly to the organisation by the hospital entities, whether these belonging or not to the National Health System.

Age Limit of Stay: 70 Years Deductible:

- Deductible of 10% on Permanent Disability

- Deductible per person / accident of 90.00 on Treatment expenses. This deductible payment is the responsibility of the participant.
