Amália Co3ta Lima (36) que achou para grau de correlação no sou estudo feito em 100 creanças dos 8 aos 13 anos, de ambos os sexos nòs institutos do Porto: 0,996.

Apesar desta correlação nítida, devemos, no entanto, optar pe^o ín-dice de Pignet por ter um desvio padrão mais pequeno que o de Messerll, dando-nos, por isso, resultados /nais uniformes,

Por este resultado se vê não haver correlação alguma entre estes dois oroces3os métricos, não sendo por isso possível utlllâar a pressão'dlnamo-metrlca para apreciar duma forma constante a força física dum individuo veriflcando-ee sempre uma imprecisão nos resultados obtidos, não só pela extrema variabilidade das causas que influem sobre a força de pressão (exercício muscular, comprimento da mão, actividade mental no momento das experiências, etc.) mas--também pela falta de treino e pela forma de agar: e manejar o dinamometro.
