NCE/14/01811 – Pronúncia

A EI agradece à CAE a avaliação do presente ciclo de estudos bem como do NCE/14/01806, louvando a postura construtiva evidenciada. A EI apresenta pronúncia nos termos seguintes:

1. Os dois ciclos de estudos identificados (Doutoramento e Mestrado) consubstanciam um projeto formativo conjunto. Os dois ciclos de estudos foram concebidos de forma complementar, tendo em consideração a sua sequência temática e o esforço financeiro necessário para a constituição do respetivo corpo docente (elevadas qualificações académicas, docentes estrangeiros e lecionação em língua inglesa) aproveitando assim as sinergias indispensáveis para a sua sustentabilidade financeira.

2. O Mestrado NCE/14/01811 mereceu uma recomendação de acreditação com condições e o Doutoramento NCE/14/01806 uma recomendação de não acreditação. As condições impostas no processo NCE/14/01811 respeitam, pelo essencial ao perfil do Coordenador de ciclo de estudos e ao vínculo de alguns membros do corpo docente.

3. Assim,

a) Adota-se a recomendação de alteração do coordenador, que passará a ser Cristina Sousa, cujo CV e comprovativo de vínculo se encontra em anexo.

b) No que respeita ao vínculo institucional de uma parte do corpo docente, junta-se em anexo a respetiva demonstração, ao mesmo tempo que se procede a uma ligeira alteração da sua composição com vista à obtenção das sinergias acima referidas e ao início de execução de acordo interinstitucional com a Universidade de Maribor no sentido de criação de graus conjuntos em Economia.

EI thanks the CAE evaluation of this course of study and the NCE / 14/01 806, praising demonstrated constructive stance. The EI has pronunciation as follows:

1. The two cycles of identified studies (PhD and Masters) embody a set formation plan. The two study cycles are designed in a complementary manner, taking into account its thematic sequence and the financial effort required for the establishment of the respective faculty (high academic qualifications, foreign teachers and teaching in English) taking advantage of the necessary synergies for its financial sustainability.

2. The Master NCE / 14/01 811 received an accreditation recommendation conditions and the PhD NCE / 14/01 806 a recommendation not to accreditation. The conditions imposed in the process NCE / 14/01 811 meeting at essential to link some faculty members and to the course coordinator profile.

3. Thus,

a) adopts the recommendation to change the coordinator, proposing Cristina Sousa, whose CV and bond proof is in attachment. b) With regard to the institutional link of a part of the faculty, joins attached to respective demonstration, while it proceeds to a slight change in its composition in order to obtain the above synergies and the start of implementation interinstitutional agreement with the University of Maribor in the direction of creating joint degree in Economics.

According to the criteria and indicators for monitoring scientific performance by groups of researchers ranked among the top 2' researchers in the field of Social Sciences/Economy Sciences (http://sicris.izum.si/services/rsr_top.aspx?lang=slv&code1=5&code2=02&code3=01&eval_type=A1&top=50&opt=1) with over 150 recorded citations in WoS, Proquest and Scopus. By 2015, 15 recorded publications in WoS/JCR in journals with an impact factor, 23 in categories A1-A4 according to ARRS and a total of 58 publications of works for which the profession according to Articles 24 and 29 of the "Criteria" recognizes international importance. Overall assessment of the performance according to ARRS – factor A

= 8.8 and for the last 5 years 7.45.
