Noções de Operações Turísticas
Objetivos de aprendizagem (conhecimentos, aptidões e competências)
No final da unidade curricular de Transportes e acessibilidades em turismo espera-se que os estudantes sejam capazes de:
- Avaliar a problemática das acessibilidades para os destinos turísticos, sua importância para o desenvolvimento económico e social; - Analisar as principais operações nos diferentes meios de transporte, suas características e relação com a indústria turística, no contexto
internacional e nacional.
- Conhecer a natureza das operações em transportes e sua complexidade no sistema de distribuição turística. - Desenvolver uma postura crítica e um know-how relativamente a esta componente da indústria turística.
- Avaliar os aspetos estratégicos e operacionais que o setor enfrenta, no âmbito das alterações políticas, económicas, socioculturais e tecnológicas.
- Desenvolver competências que permitam gerir as operações em transportes no contexto do turismo internacional.

Metodologias de ensino (avaliação incluída)
A unidade curricular de Transportes e acessibilidades em turismo adota como métodos de ensino a exposição de conceitos teóricos e práticos, a análise de estudos de caso e a sua discussão em sala de aula.
A avaliação da unidade curricular é constituída por uma componente distribuída e por um exame final.
O estudante que obtiver 12 valores na avaliação da componente distribuída da unidade curricular ficará dispensado do exame final. A avaliação da componente distribuída e a do exame final correspondem, respetivamente, a 40% e a 60% da classificação final da UC. A avaliação da componente distribuída é constituída por:
- 45% - Teste
- 45% - Trabalho de grupo - 10% - Avaliação do docente

Issues related with Tourism Operations
The students intended learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences)
At the end of the course of transport and accessibilities in tourism is expected that students will be able to:
- Evaluate the problem of accessibility to tourist destinations and its importance to the economic and social development; - Analyze the main operations in the different means of transport, their characteristics and relationship with the tourism industry, international and national context.
- Understand the nature of operations in transport and complexity in tourism distribution system. - Develop a critical attitude and know-how relating to this component of the tourism industry.
- Assess the strategic and operational aspects facing the sector in the context of political, economic, socio-cultural and technological changes.
- Develop skills for the handling of transport operations in the context of international tourism.

Teaching methodologies (including evaluation)
The unit of transport and accessibilities in tourism adopts the methods of teaching the exposure of theoretical and practical concepts, analysis of case studies and their discussion in class.
The assessment for this curricular unit consists of a distributed component and a final examination.
Students who obtain a grade of twelve or more in the distributed component of the curricular unit will be exempt from the final exam. The distributed component assessment and the final exam correspond, respectively, to 40% and 60% of the final grade of the curricular unit. The distributed component consists of:
1 test - 45% of the total grade
1 working group - 45% of the total grade
Teacher individual evaluation - 10% of the total grade
