JOGAR VIA PEN DRIVE( Tutorial em video )
Ganhe mais usando boo-boxEste tutorial vai dar mais uma mãozinha aos gamers que ficaram desprovidos do Leitor Óptico em seus aparelhos PS2.
Serve tanto para os modelos antigos (ditos tijolões) e também para os atuais SLIM'S, já que é necessário somente a entrada USB. No caso dos aparelhos antigos a melhor opção ainda é usar o programa HDLoader, através de um HD convencional de PC plugado ao modem (NA's=Network Adaptor)... mas com a escassez desses modem's que pararam de ser fabricados e o alto custo envolvido, a jogatina pelo Pendrive torna-se uma excelente possibilidade. Serão necessários:
PenDrive -> Lógico.. rs.. Nesse tuto usei um MP3 (Pen) Kaiomy 265 (2gb). Funcionou sem problemas, inclusive no boot por Dev3, também possuo um Kingston DataTraveler de 4gb, este já não sei porque o PS2 não reconhece... Nem pelo Ulaunchelf.
UsbExtreme -> Utilitário que deverá ser copiado para uma pasta no PC, necessário para extrair um jogo da sua origem CD / DVD para uma imagem que será lida pelos programas UsbAdvanced ou PenDrive Loader.
PenDrive Loader (versão Elf Thunder Pro II by Ricky) -> Praticamente o
UsbAdvanced, porém com uma carinha diferente, mas pronta pra ser usada no modo DEV3 (boot direto do Pendrive) resetando o aparelho apertando
respectivamente START+L1. (é versão que uso)
UsbAdvanced (versão elf Matrix Infinity) -> Para ser copiado para o Memory Card, e rodar no PS2 via boot DEV1 (Somente usuários Matrix Infinity).
UsbAdvanced (versão CD de boot) -> Para rodar o programa no PS2 via CD... tem que ser gravado num CD-R ou RW e usar no PS2 como se fosse um jogo. Para usuários de qualquer modchip
OBS:
- Para usuários Matrix, precisa entrar no Menu e desativar o Macrovision FIX e o Green Fix, senão dará Tela Preta. Clones que não salvam configuração não terá como ser usado.
No tutorial usei como exemplo o Game Tekken Tag, a minha versão é CD (600mb), mas o processo é o mesmo tanto para games CD ou DVD. Vamos lá...
1)Coloque o game no drive do PC, execute o programa UsbExtreme, e marque as opções:
a ) CD/DVDROM - selecione o drive onde está o jogo.
b ) MEDIA TYPE - selecione a origem do jogo, se é CD ou DVD /
c ) HARD DRIVE - deixe como está, indica que o jogo será enviado pro drive C:\ do PC.
d ) GAME NAME - escreva o nome do jogo como queira.... ... pronto, clique em START e aguarde a conversão...
2) Note na imagem abaixo que o jogo foi enviado pro HD do PC na forma de 2 arquivos são eles: ul.6F33FEA9.PBPX_952.01.00 / ul.cfg. No exemplo do Tekken Tag como o game é relativamente pequeno, foi geraldo somente 1 parte com extensão 00, mas isso pode variar de acordo com o tamanho do game copiado, gerando partes 00... 01...02 etc... sempre acompanhadas do arquivo ul.cfg que funciona como uma espécie de link para leitura.
3) Enviando os arquivos para o Pendrive... Obs:não sei se é necessário que envie os arquivos do jogo para a raiz do pendrive, ou se pode ser colocado numa pasta, eu sempre mando para raiz... e funciona... não importa se tem outro conteúdo como pastas de MP3, ou qualquer outros arquivos dentro... mas acho que deixando na raiz facilita o reconhecimento pelos programas...
4) Abaixo mostra o jogo já disponível dentro PEN... agora cada usuário pode roda-lo com o seu programa favorito... ( UsbAdvanced ou PenDrive Loader), por boot por CD, MC ou Pendrive... como sou um feliz proprietário de um Thunder Pro II, eu rodarei o jogo usando o Pendrive Loader, então já deixei o boot numa pasta no PEN com o boo2.elf.
5) Executando o programa no PS2... com o game na lista do PenDrive Loader é só executa-lo apertando X no controle.
6) Pronto, jogo funfando 100% no pendrive...
No caso do Tekken Tag o game funcionou quase perfeito, apenas com
pequenas travadinhas nos vídeos... já ingame funcionou 100%. Também estou jogando Fahrenheit Indigo Prophecy, já este dá pequenas travadas nos vídeos e ingame, para os mais exigentes isso pode incomodar, mas pra mim não.
