RESOLUTIONS OF THE WHO ASSEMBLY AND EXECUTIVE

BOARD OF INTEREST TO THE REGIONAL COMMITTEE FOR

THE AMERICAS

THE 8th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having seen Document CD8/11, in which the Director of the Bureau, at the request of the

Director-General of the World Health Organization, brought Resolutions WHA8.10, WHA8.12, WHA8.13,

WHA8.20,, WHA8.30, WHA8.32, WHA8.38, and EB16.R16 to the attention of the Regional

Committee for the Americas,

RESOLVES

To take note of Document CD8/11 and its annex [containing Resolutions WHA8.10 (Second

General Program of Work covering a Specific Period), WHA8.12 (Relations with UNICEF),

WHA8.13 (Status of Collection of Annual Contributions and of Advances to the Working Capital

(Planning for the 1956 Technical Assistance Program), WHA8.38 (Campaign Against Smallpox),

and EB16.R16 (Malaria Eradication Program)].
