MESSAGE

Caros amigos,

O campo da Neurotologia muito se desenvolveu nos últimos

anos. Pesquisas, conhecimento e desenvolvimento de novos tipos

de testes enriqueceram o tratamento de distúrbios vestibulares e

permitiram a especialistas obter um diagnóstico mais preciso e

melhores resultados com o tratamento.

A F.I.N.O. - Fundação Ibero-Americana de Neurotologia tem

se dedicado à educação médica contínua e, com essa fi nalidade,

realizou em Colonia del Sacramento, no Uruguai, a I Reunião

Ibero-Americana de Neurotologia. O Brasil foi escolhido para

sediar a sua segunda edição.

Seguindo o padrão estabelecido, a Reunião será um simpósio

em que as questões mais relevantes da Neurotologia atual serão

discutidas durante dois dias e meio.

A Sociedade Bárány, a mais importante Sociedade de Neurotologia

do mundo, apoia a F.I.N.O. e criou uma comissão especial que

analisará temas livres a serem apresentados na II Reunião

Ibero-Americana de Neurotologia, premiando o melhor deles.

Tenho a certeza de que, como participantes desta Reunião, vocês

terão uma excelente oportunidade de ouvir grandes nomes

da Neurotologia moderna, todos eles envolvidos em novas

pesquisas, expondo suas ideias e opiniões.

Dear friends!

Th e fi eld of Neurotology has been improving a lot in recent

years. Researches, knowledge and development of new types of

tests enriched the treatment of vestibular disorders and allow

specialists to get more accurate diagnosis and obtain better

results with treatment.

Th e F.I.N.O. - Iberoamericana Foundation Neurotology - has

been dedicated to continuous medical education and with

this purpose held in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, the

I Reunião Ibero-Americana de Neurotologia.

Brazil was chosen to hold its second edition.

Following the established pattern, our meeting will be a

symposium in which the most relevant issues of the current

Neurotology will be discussed during two days and a half.

Th e Bárány Society - the most important neurotology society

in the world-, gives an important support to the F.I.N.O. and

it created a special committee that will analyze the submitted

papers to be presented at our meeting and reward the best of

them.

I’m sure that, as participants of this event, you will have the

opportunity of sharing ideas and opinions with the greatest

names of modern neurotology, involved with new studies and

researches.

poderíamos deixar de realizar a sua 2ª edição.

Em função do calendário da especialidade e com o objetivo de

enriquecer a programação deste 2

nd

_{EAR BRAZIL, este ano ele}

acontecerá no Maksoud Plaza Hotel, de 13 a 15 de outubro

de 2016, juntamente com a II Reunião Ibero-Americana de

Neurotologia.

Para dar prosseguimento a nosso projeto de Educação

Continuada em ouvido, estruturamos este evento como um

curso intensivo, com dois dias e meio de duração, em que os

temas principais de otologia e otoneurologia serão estudados da

maneira mais abrangente possível.

Contamos com a presença de todos os amantes da otologia neste

evento, que certamente será muito útil e importante no dia a dia

de nossa atividade.

Due to many events of the specialty held in the fi rst semester and

in order to improve the program of this 2

nd

_{EAR BRAZIL, this}

year it will take place at the Maksoud Plaza Hotel, from 13 to 15

October 2016, together with the II Reunião Ibero-Americana de

Neurotologia.

In order to continue our Continuous Education project in

Ear, we structured this event as an intensive course, with two

and a half days duration, in which the main themes of otology

and neurotology will be studied in the most comprehensive way

possible.
