Architects of buildings and architects of software have more in common than most people think. Both professions require attention to detail and both practitioners will see their work collapse around them if they make too many mistakes.

3. Importância para minha pesquisa em nível de Tese de Mestrado
Estes livros serão de grande valia para a minha proposta de dissertação de Mestrado e também para o meu ambiente de trabalho.
A minha proposta é de um framework para o mapeamento e acesso integrado às bases de dados ambientais na DSA/CPTEC/INPE, baseada na plataforma Java, onde a aplicação de Padrões de Desenvolvimento poderá enriquecer o trabalho, garantindo uma melhor qualidade no software resultante.
No INPE, estamos em uma fase de planejamento para a implantação de metodologias ágeis na equipe de desenvolvimento do Serviço Corporativo de Tecnologia da Informação.
