CD10.R1

RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE DIRECTING COUNCIL

THE 10th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

RESOLVES

To amend Articles 6, 24, and 44 of the Rules of Procedure of the Directing Council to read as

follows:

Article 6. The Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau shall be ex-officio Secretary of the

Directing Council and of all committees, subcommittees, and working parties established by it. He

may delegate these functions.

Article 24. The General Committee shall consist of the Chairman and the two Vice-Chairmen of the

Directing Council, representatives of four additional countries elected by the Directing Council, and

the Director, serving as ex-officio member without the right to vote. The Chairman of the Directing

Council shall serve as Chairman of the General Committee.

Article 44. The representatives and the Director shall sign the Final Report.
