RESOLUTION

CD19.R1

REVIEW OF THE RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE GOVERNING

BODIES OF THE PAHO

THE 19th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having considered the report of the Director (Document CD19/13) prepared in implementation of

Resolution XV of the XVIII Meeting of the Directing Council;

Taking into consideration that similar changes have already been introduced in the Rules of

Procedure of the Executive Committee;

Bearing in mind the recommendation adopted in Resolution I of the 61st Meeting of the Executive

Committee; and

Bearing in mind the provisions of Rule 58 of the Rules of Procedure of the Directing Council and

Rule 61 of the Rules of Procedure of the Conference,

RESOLVES

1. To approve changes in the Rules of Procedure of the Directing Council as they appear in

2. To transmit Document CE61/11 to the XVIII Pan American Sanitary Conference, and to

recommend favorable consideration [by this body] of the proposed changes in the Rules of

Procedure of the Conference (Annex III) [and of] Rules 1 and 37 as amended during the

consideration of the document.
