For the repair of cooling systems, (1-3) through (1-7) must be performed before working on the systems. When electrical components are replaced, they must be fit for purpose and to the correct specifications. This should be reported to the owner of the device so that all parties can be advised.
Before recharging the system, it must be pressure tested with the appropriate purge gas. The equipment must be marked as having been taken out of service and emptied of refrigerant. The recovered refrigerant must be returned to the refrigerant supplier in the correct recovery container and the relevant waste transfer slip must be arranged.
The evacuation process must be carried out before returning the compressor to the suppliers. To speed up this process, only electric heating of the compressor body will be used.

Control code, error source, refrigerant address, unit model, production number and contact information (dealer's telephone number) can be displayed. Use this period to set the time periods when silent operation of outdoor units is given priority over temperature control. Energy Saving Auto return Use this option to operate the units at the preset temperature after performing energy saving operation for a specified period of time.
Maintenance Automatic Descending Panel Used to raise and lower the automatic descending panel (optional parts). Manual Vane Angle Used to set the angle of each vane to a fixed position. Auto mode Whether you want to use AUTO mode or not can be selected by using the button.
Restriction setting • Outdoor unit silent mode setting • Night setting Language selection Use to select the desired language. Request code**: You can check the details of the operation data, including the temperature of each thermistor and the error history.

If the unit cannot be operated properly after test run, refer to the following table to find the cause. For description of each LED (LED1, 2, 3) provided on the indoor controller, refer to the following table. This LED lights up only in the case of the indoor unit connected to the outdoor unit's refrigerant addresses "0".
LED3 (communication between indoor and outdoor units) Indicates communication status between the indoor and outdoor units.
OCH659A 29
Freeze Protection (Cooling Mode) The unit is in 6-minute restart prevention mode if pipe
Abnormal if a temperature above 70˚C is detected again within 30 minutes after the 6-minute resumption prevention mode. Slight temperature difference between internal room temperature and pipe
Detected as abnormal when the pipe temperature is not within the cooling range 3 minutes after compressor start and 6 minutes after liquid or condenser/. Check the pipe temperature
OCH659A 31
Defective sending-receiving circuit of indoor controller board Defective sending-receiving circuit of indoor controller board Noise entered/. Check the LED display on the external control circuit board. Other indoor controller boards may have defects in the case of two triple indoor unit systems. Abnormal if indoor controller board cannot receive any signal normally for 6 minutes after power on.
Consider the unit abnormal under the following conditions: When 2 or more indoor units are connected to an outdoor unit, the indoor controller board cannot receive a signal from the outdoor controller PCB for 3 minutes, a signal that allows the outdoor controller PCB to send signals. Abnormal if data cannot be read normally from the non-volatile memory of the indoor controller board. Remote control control card Abnormal if data cannot be read. mainly from the non-volatile memory of the remote control board.
The unit has an abnormal water leak when the following conditions, a) and b) are met while performing the above-mentioned detection. a). The inlet temperature minus the liquid pipe temperature was detected below –10˚C for a total of 30 minutes. When it is detected that the drain sensor is NOT soaked in water, the detection record a) and b) will be deleted.).
When a water leakage abnormality is detected, the abnormality state will not be released until the main power is reset.

9-4. TROUBLESHOOTING OF PROBLEMS
OCH659A 35
When the batteries in the remote control run out or the remote control does not work, emergency operation can be carried out using the emergency buttons on the grille. 1.When the wired remote controller or the indoor unit microprocessor has failed, but all other components are working properly, setting the switch (SWE) on the indoor controller board ON will start the indoor unit emergency operation. Note about the wireless remote control: When the remote control does not work, it is possible to activate emergency operation by using the indoor unit's emergency operation switch (SW1, SW2 on the wireless signal receiver board).
However, if the indoor unit's microprocessor has failed, it is necessary to proceed with points 2 and 3 below as in the case of the wired remote controller. 2.When activating the emergency operation of cooling or heating, set the switch (SWE) on the indoor controller board and activate the emergency operation of the outdoor unit. For details on how to activate emergency operation of the outdoor unit, refer to the wiring diagram of the outdoor unit.
Note: The emergency control does not work unless the outdoor unit is a PU series. 3.Check the following points before activating the emergency operation:

9-6. HOW TO CHECK THE PARTS
DC Blower Motor (Blower Motor/Indoor Controller Circuit Board) Check Method for DC Blower Motor (Blower Motor/Indoor Controller Circuit Board) Check Method for DC Blower Motor (Blower Motor/Indoor Controller Circuit Board) 1 Remarks. Do not pull out the connector (CNMF) of the motor with the power supply on. It causes problems with the indoor controller circuit and the fan motor.) 2Self-check. Symptom: The fan motor does not stop when you press the stop button on the remote control.
Procedure: The emergency operation connector on the internal controller board may be set to ON. Power Check (Remove the connector (CNMF)) Measure the voltage on the internal controller circuit. Measure the voltage between CNMF 7 and 4 0 VDC and 15 VDC in the internal controller circuit.
