If the refrigerant is charged from the gas phase, a change in the refrigerant composition may occur and efficiency will decrease. If other refrigerant (R22, etc.) is used, chlorine in the refrigerant may lead to refrigerant oil deterioration, etc. Vacuum pump oil may flow back into the refrigerant cycle, which may lead to refrigerant oil deterioration, etc.

If dirt, dust or moisture gets into the refrigerant circuit, it can cause deterioration of the refrigerant oil or compressor failure. If you use a charging roller, the composition of the refrigerant changes and the efficiency decreases. If a large amount of mineral oil enters, it may cause deterioration of the cooling oil, etc.

The coolant oil applied to flare and flange connections should be ester oil, ether oil or alkylbenzene oil in a small amount. Correct coolant is specified in the manuals and on the specification labels supplied with our products.

SAFETY PRECAUTION

Connect terminals M1 and M2 to the indoor unit (IC) transmission cable terminal block that has the latest address within the same group as the terminal block on the remote controller (RC). 3 MA or more remote controllers cannot be connected to the indoor unit of the same group. The address/attribute displayed on the remote control indicates the indoor unit that is causing the trouble.

Check the capacity code switch (SW2 on the indoor controller board) of the connected indoor unit. Check the model selection switch (SW4 on the indoor controller board) of the connected indoor unit. The fuse on the indoor unit's control board has blown. is not displayed on the remote control.

The power supply of the indoor unit (Master) is not turned on. 2) For MA remote control systems.

NECESSARY CONDITIONS FOR SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION

Connect terminals M1 and M2 on the transmission cable terminal block (TB5) for each indoor unit to the terminal block (TB6) for the remote controller (RC). Connect the M1 and M2 terminals on the transmission cable terminal block (TB5) of the main unit IC to the latest address within the same group of the indoor unit (IC) as the terminal block (TB6) on the remote control. In the case of using 2 remote controllers, connect terminals 1 and 2 on the transmission cable terminal block (TB15) for each indoor unit to the terminal block for 2 remote controllers.

Connect terminals 1 and 2 to the transfer cable terminal block (TB15) of each indoor unit that performs group operation with the MA remote controller terminal block. Set the smallest address within number 01-50 of the indoor unit with the most functions in the same group. The MA remote controller and the M-NET remote controller cannot be used together with the indoor unit of the same group.

The second MA remote controller is connected to the terminal block (TB15) for the MA remote controller of the same indoor unit (IC) as the first remote controller. The group setting operations between the multiple indoor units are done by the remote controller (RC) after the electric power is turned on.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Find the indoor unit address display mode: Press the FILTER and k buttons on the remote controller simultaneously and hold for 2 seconds. When the indoor control board cannot receive signal from remote controller or other indoor unit. The model code of the connected indoor unit can be displayed by an operation of SW1 on the outdoor unit.

ELECTRICAL WIRING

Please get "C" from the tripping characteristic of the circuit breaker. lt;Example of "F2" calculation>. Please note that the type and number of control wires required for the CITY MULTI-S series depends on the remote controls and whether they are connected to the system. Use the following formula and the total power and current obtained in parts 1 and 2 of the above tables to calculate the power factor of the system.

METHOD OF OBTAINING ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES WHEN A CAPACITY AGREEMENT IS SIGNED WITH AN ELECTRIC ENERGY COMPANY. The electrical characteristics of a connected indoor unit system for air conditioning systems, including the MULTI-S series, depend on the arrangement of the indoor and outdoor units. First read the data of the selected indoor and outdoor units and then use the following formulas to calculate the electrical characteristics before requesting a capacity agreement from the local electricity company.

Obtaining the electrical characteristics of the CITY MULTI-S series system (1) Procedure for obtaining the total energy consumption. The power consumption of the outdoor unit will vary depending on the total capacity of the selected indoor units. The current through the outdoor unit will vary according to the total capacity of the selected indoor units.

Page numbers in this technical manual. Page numbers in this technical manual Subtotal of total current through each indoor unit See technical manual of each indoor unit 1.

Each microprocessor must be assigned an identification number (address) to identify the destinations of signals to outdoor units, indoor units, and the MULTI-S series remote controller. You need to set the addresses of the outdoor units, indoor units and remote controller with their setting switches.

REFRIGERANT PIPING TASKS

Farthest pipe length after first branch High/low difference in inner/outer section High/low difference in inner/inner section allowed. When connecting the CONNECTION KIT (PAC-LV11M-J) and an M series indoor unit, refer to the installation manual for the CONNECTION KIT when selecting the pipe size and piping length. The cooler for the extension pipe is not included in the outdoor unit when the unit is shipped from the factory.

In addition, to perform service, enter the size and length of each liquid pipe and additional refrigerant charge amounts in the spaces on the "Refrigerant Amount" plate on the outdoor unit. Calculate the additional refrigerant charge using the procedure shown at right and charge the additional refrigerant. Manifold Joint Indoor Unit Manifold Head Blind Caps A. Please select a manifold kit, which is sold separately, from the table below.

The R410A refrigerant of this air conditioner is non-toxic and non-flammable, but a large amount leaking from an indoor unit into the room where the unit is installed may be harmful.

When a single refrigeration system consists of several independent refrigeration circuits, calculate the total refrigerant quantity for each independent refrigerant circuit. The total amount of refrigerant is the refrigerant added ex factory plus additional amount added during field installation. The part with represents the space with the smallest volume. a) Situation where there are no partitions.

If the calculation results do not exceed the maximum concentration, do the same calculations for the second and third largest chamber, etc., until it is determined that the maximum concentration will not be exceeded anywhere. All the refrigerant of this system will flow into this room if there is a leak in this indoor unit. If the smaller room has a mechanical ventilation apparatus that is connected to a domestic gas detection and alarm device, the calculations should be carried out for the second smaller room.

DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

The electrical distribution box is attached with 2 hooks on the left and 1 hook on the right.
