CONSIDERAÇÕES FINAIS

A QV é um dos desfechos mais relevantes na avaliação de pacientes com doenças crônicas. A partir da revisão dos estudos que contemplam este desfecho nos portadores de asma e doenças alérgicas, percebe-se a influência de um conjunto de fatores que interagem. A gravidade da asma, o controle da doença e as comorbidades, com destaque para a rinite alérgica, sedentarismo,

sobrepeso e obesidade aparecem atualmente, sendo alvo de forte interesse de pesquisadores da área, objetivando elucidar estas relações, tendo em vista o aumento da prevalência tanto de asma, como destas comorbidade também de forma isolada.

Encontra-se ainda na literatura, estudos afirmando que a QV do asmático, também pode ser influenciada por outros fatores, como duração da asma, idade, sexo, escolaridade dos pais, enfrentamento familiar e fatores socioeconômicos(44, 46, 47, 93)

O entendimento da própria asma e doenças alérgicas, suas comorbidades e dos fatores que influenciam o dia-a-dia de seus portadores, irá auxiliar o desenvolvimento de ações na área da saúde voltadas a garantia de melhor QV de seus portadores, pois, com base nos estudos publicados, fica clara a associação entre um prejuízo na QV e a asma e doenças alérgicas.
