About the operation modes
Indoor The unit can run in cooling mode because it runs under backflow conditions. The indoor unit can run in heating operation mode because it runs under setback conditions.
To set the operation mode
When the room temperature rises above C2 (24°C) while the timer is still running, a switch from Heating to Cooling is forced. When the room temperature rises above C2 (26°C) while the timer is still running, a switch from Heating to Cooling is forced.
Setpoint
About the setpoint
If any limitation is set in this range with the setpoint range function (Madoka Assistant app function; see "Setpoint range it is only possible to raise or lower the setpoint up/down to the set limits of maximum/minimum setpoint range However, if a Setpoint Range Limit is set to 23°C, you can only lower the setpoint to 23°C.

Airflow
Airflow direction
Result: The indoor unit changes the airflow direction and the controller returns to the home screen.
Fan speed
For mechanical protection purposes, the indoor unit may switch itself to 'Automatic fan speed' mode. Result: The indoor unit changes the fan speed and the controller returns to the home screen.
Ventilation
Ventilation mode
It may take some time for changes to the fan speed settings to actually take effect. Result: The heat recovery ventilation unit changes operating mode and the controller returns to the home screen.

Advanced usage
To operate the controller with the app, connect the controller to a mobile device on which the app is installed. To indicate that maintenance is required, the controller will appear on the home screen and/or display a warning screen as soon as you press to enter the main menu from the home screen.

About refrigerant leak detection
To stop the leak detection alarm
Any damage or missing parts MUST be reported immediately to the carrier's claims agent. Prepare in advance the path along which you want to bring the unit to the final installation position.
To prepare the wiring for installation
During the installation of the controller, the installation environment must be kept dust-free to avoid particles from entering the PCB side of the controller.
Mounting the controller
About mounting the controller
If you route the wiring from the back, you don't have to remove anything. When routing the wiring from the top or rear, insert the wiring through the knockout hole before mounting the rear enclosure to the wall.

Operation mode
About the operation modes
As a result, after starting operation, the indoor unit needs some time to heat up the room. The indoor unit's fan will run automatically until the system's indoor temperature rises to a certain level. In case of indoor unit set point logic, the system cannot operate in automatic operation mode.
To set the operation mode
When the room temperature drops below C2 (20°C) while the duty timer is still running, a transition from cooling to heating is forced. To prevent mode switching from occurring too frequently, switching typically occurs only after the duty timer has expired (ie, case 1). However, to prevent the room from becoming too hot or too cold, a changeover is forced when the room temperature reaches C2 while the on-call timer is still running (ie case 2).
Setpoint
About the setpoint
Example: If the reference set point is 25°C, it is possible to raise the set point to 28°C and lower it to 22°C. If any restrictions are set to the standard set point range (16°C~32°C) with the set point range function (Madoka Assistant app function; see "Set point range, it is only possible to raise or lower the set point up/down to the set upper/lower set point range limits If system is under the control of a centralized controller or schedule, the normal +3°C/–3°C setpoint limits can be overridden AND changed.

Field settings
If the indoor unit is a cooling only model, it can only be set to operate in Cooling, Fan Only or Dry operation mode. When the system is stopped while the indoor unit is in heating mode, the fan will continue to run for about 1 minute to dissipate all the heat remaining in the indoor unit. Before turning off the system, wait for the drain pump to finish draining the water left in the indoor unit (about 1 minute).
03 Air flow function: Set whether the indoor unit is equipped with a decorative panel at the air outlet. The connection of optional accessories to the indoor unit may cause changes in some local settings.
Miscellaneous settings
If the reset timer has not expired, the unit will return to the previous state before the contact is opened. When the reset timer expires, the previous status is updated to the "Default Reset Setting" status. Result: The indoor unit fan corresponding to the selected indoor unit number starts operating.

About pairing
Under Recent Devices, you can also find a list of controllers you've interacted with recently. To operate and/or configure the system, tap the controller tile associated with the indoor units you wish to operate. Before you can actually connect to the controller, you need to make sure that the app and the controller are paired.
To pair the app with a controller
To make a Bluetooth connection
5 In the Madoka Assistant app, tap the tile on the controller for which you want to update the software. Result: If this is the first time you are connecting, or when pairing information was removed, the operating system of your mobile device sends a pairing request, including a numeric string. 6 In the Madoka Assistant app, tap the tile on the controller for which you want to update the software.
To terminate the Bluetooth connection
2 From the information screen, press and simultaneously until you enter the installer menu.
To remove bonding information
When you delete the connection information from a remote control, you also delete the connection information from the Bluetooth list of your mobile device.

Remote controller settings
If the remote only shows an empty CO2 concentration value, check if the unit equipped with the CO2 sensor has the lowest unit number. It is not possible to set the status indicator mode from the app; this is done via the remote control's field setting R1-11. In the date and time menu, you send date and time information to the remote control from the app.
Energy saving
This function is not supported when the system contains Sky Air RR or RQ outdoor units. When activated, this function makes the outdoor unit operate with limited power consumption (70% or 40% of normal consumption) for the set duration. When the timer expires, the temperature set point will always change to the set value, even if the temperature set point has been changed in the meantime.
Scheduling
If the Home Screen Setpoint setting is set to Symbolic, there is only a limited range of possible temperature setpoints. However, if Home Screen Setpoint is set to Symbolic and there is a setpoint change coming from a schedule, then the system will ignore the regular setpoint constraints and allow the schedule to exceed the limited range of the set point. This function cannot be used when the BRP7A5* digital input adapter is part of the system.
Configuration and operation
When the system is controlled by central control equipment, control of the system by the controller is limited. To use this function, it is necessary that the digital input adapter BRP7A5* is part of the system. When the digital input adapter is part of the system, the system does not allow the connection of a slave controller.
Maintenance
For more information on indoor unit maintenance, refer to the indoor unit operating instructions. 3 Navigate to the operation screen of the controller connected to the indoor unit(s) on which you want to perform a test run. Result: The indoor unit(s) go into test operation mode where normal operation is not possible.

If the controller is set to work in "Supervisor" mode, then it adds the "controlled room address" of the faulty indoor unit to the error screen. Supervisor", it is mandatory to set a unique "monitored room address" for each indoor unit. Note that in the case of multiple leaks, only the address of the first defective unit causing the error is displayed.
