COMECE A FALAR INGLÊS HOJE MESMO (Pronúncia americana)
AVISO
. . Nada disto! É assim mesmo. Veja, por exemplo "Miami"
aqui o primeiro " i " soa "ái" e o segundo soa " i " (maiá- m i ) .

AS LETRAS DO ALFABETO
PRONOMES PESSOAIS
Eu I ái Você, o Snr., vocês, os
Srs., Va. Sa. V a s . V a s . ,
a Snra, as Snras. You iú Ele He hi Ela * She chi Nós We uí Vós You iú Eles., elas They díéi
Ele e ela (coisa ou animal) é "it".
A S I N T A X E

To nave — To do — To be — e também — Shall Will — cujas formas, no passado, são as seguintes:
Verbos Do Have Be Shall
Will
dá Did, Done dá Had dá Been dá Should dá Would Significado desses verbos:
Do Have Be
Fazer (x) Ter e haver Ser e Estar
Pronúncia did, dênn héd, héd bi, bíinn chél, chud
VERBOS REGULARES
78
sado terminam em _ ED — (looked, danced, studied,, copied, touched, e t c . ) .
Eis outro exemplo, completo: com o verbo To wish.
Imperfeito Perfeito M a i s quç perfeito Participio P a s s a d o wished h a v e wished h a d wished wished
Apenas o verbo auxiliar (have) muda para — has — na terceira pessoa do singular.
