In the paper “Variability of above-ground litter inputs al-ters soil physicochemical and biological processes: a meta-analysis of litterfall-manipulation experiments” by S. Xu et al. (Biogeosciences, 10, 1–11, 2013) the following error oc-cured: the order of the first two affiliations from the first au-thor S. Xu were interchanged. The updated version of the right affiliation order is shown above. In this case the affili-ation of the second author has been updated as well to have the right attribution as before.
