Admission requisites (candidates) - Graduation (“Licenciatura”), in:
➢ Physics, Physics Engineering, Biological Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry), Biomedical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering; ➢ Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiotherapy (in Health Schools);
➢ Related scientific areas to the aforementioned ones. 4 semesters, 120 ECTS

Allows the fulfilment of Education and Training requirements for Radiation Protection professionals, laid in the national legislation as a result of the transposition of the Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom (February 2018):
➢ Will respond to societal issues such as the quality and sefety in the use of ionizing radiation
➢ Will allow the fulfilment of the Portuguese obligations in the areas concerned
It will strengthen the role and the intervention of IST in different activity sectors ➢ Links with health, industrial and business sectors
