EDITORIAL

ISSN 1678-7757

In the Editorial of the November/December 2008 issue, we proudly announced that indexation of the Journal of Applied Oral Science (JAOS) in MEDLINE would start with issues published in 2008. After a request that the back issues of our journal be indexed in MEDLINE, we now announce that the indexation actually started with articles published in 2006. It is important to clarify to everyone that this was only possible because both MEDLINE and SciELO agreed with this request. We are extremely grateful to all who were involved in such an important decision, which is very helpful to our journal, readers and authors.

All the articles appearing in MEDLINE contain the link to the free full text available at the SciELO website, which also gives access to the digital object identifier (DOI). We remind all the readers that the articles published in years not covered by MEDLINE are also freely available at the SciELO website at: http://www.scielo.br/jaos.

Please, do not hesitate in contacting us for any further clarification at [email protected]. Yours sincerely,

Carlos F. Santos, DDS, MSc, PhD, Associate Professor
