delivered Monday thru Friday and the Winsted Journal

delivered on Friday so stop in to catch up on the news.

Enjoy your favorite fresh hot drink anytime with our

available to buy for 25 cents. If you need a lesson of

how to work the Keurig, just ask.





Center Van Rides



For travel in Winsted only. Local rides are available

Monday through Friday. The earliest pickup is 8:45am

and the last ride home is at 3pm. To make a reservation,

call the office at least 24 hours in advance, Monday thru

Friday, between 8am

Ͳ4pm, to make your reserva,on. 



Medical Appointments

Please do not make medical appointments before

9:00am or a0er 1:30pm.





Shopping or Errands 

Early Tuesday or Friday morning, or early in the

after-noon Monday thru Friday. Shoppers must limit

their purchases to 4 bags per person.





Remember…one stop per ride and please be patient. The

drivers are very busy. We try to get you to your

appoint-ment on time, but you may have to wait to be picked

up to go home. There may be times when we cannot give

you a ride, or we may have to pick you up early for an

appointment. The suggested dona,on per ride is $1.

CT State Capitol Tour & Cheesecake Factory Lunch

Tour the beautiful, unique building, learn about the history of the Capitol and view items important to Connecticut’s history then hop on the bus and head to for a lunch that offers some-thing for everyone and save room for dessert.

Trip Policy

Sign up for Center trips at the office, Monday through Friday, 8amͲ4pm. Phone reservations will not be taken for trips. We will only sign you up after payment has been made. When you are interested in a trip, sign up quickly or run the risk of missing out! A trip may be cancelled if we don’t have enough people signed up. If you show up late for a trip, we cannot wait for you and refunds will not be given.



Day Trips must be paid for in full. If you must cancel a day trip after we have paid the tour company, we can only refund your money if we have some-one to replace you. 



Overnight Trips, you must put down a deposit when you sign up. If cancellation insurance is not included and you wish to purchase it, you are responsible for purchasing it through the tour company, so that you will know what to expect if you need to cancel. Ask for the form at the office. 



N.W. Transit Day Trips are offer, unescorted, in CT, once a month. The suggested donation per trip is $7. Meals and admissions are not included. The N.W. Transit trips are open to Winsted seniors and Winsted people with disabilities only initially. Nonresidents of Winsted may sign up one month before, if a trip is not full. 



Getaway Tour trips are usually a go, no matter how few people from our Center have signed up. Multiple stops may be made, as we may share the bus with other groups.
