RESOLUTION

CD16.R23

REPRESENTATION OF THE EC AT MEETINGS OF THE DC AND

THE PSC

THE 16th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having considered Resolution VIII of the 52nd Meeting of the Executive Committee concerning the

organization of the Pan American Sanitary Conference;

Having considered the report of the working party of the Executive Committee in the addendum to

Official Document 62, which recommends "that the Executive Committee be officially represented

at the meetings of the Directing Council and the Conference by its Chairman or by any other

member appointed by the Committee"; and

Bearing in mind the desirability of the Executive Committee being officially represented at these

meetings,

1.To provide that the Executive Committee shall be officially represented by its Chairman, or by

any other member designated by the Committee, at the meetings of the Directing Council of the Pan

American Health Organization and of the Pan American Sanitary Conference.

2.To provide that the travel and subsistence expenses of the official representative of the Executive

Committee at the meeting shall be borne by the Organization.
