Rev. CEFAC. 2014 Mai-Jun; 16(3):687-1037 The third number of Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences and Educational Journal - Revista CEFAC in 2014 is composed by 35 contributions, including 29 original articles, 3 literature review articles and 3 case reports.

As for the original articles, the irst study is from Garcia, Azevedo, Didoné and Testa about Auditory steady-state responses air and bone conducted in children from zero to six months with and without

conductive impairments. The second study is from Romero, Gução, Delecrode, Cardoso, Misquiatti and Frizzo about Audiologic and eletrophysiologic evaluation in the autistic spectrum disorder. Iizuka and Gil present the third study about Audiological evaluation in employees exposed to noise in a public

hospital. Moreira and Gonçalves present the fourth study about The effectiveness of workshops in hearing health educational actions developed with workers exposed to noise. The ifth study is from Soares, Gonçalves, Teixeira, Romualdo and Santos about Inluence of vestibular rehabilitation on the quality of life of individuals with labyrinth disease. Ferreira, Ribeiro, Pestana and Lima present the sixth contribution about Prevalence of dizziness in older people. Cibian and Pereira present the seventh study about Temporal resolution hearing in menstrual migraine.

The eighth study is Air and bone-conduction frequency-speciic auditory brainstem response in neonates with normal hearing from the authors Ramos and Lewis. Fonseca and Iorio present the ninth study about Hearing aids dispensed by SUS and quality of life. The tenth study is present by Barcelos and Dazzi about Effects of the MP3 Player on hearing. The eleventh study is from Fernandes, Sousa and Costa-Guarisco about Speech recognition in ski slope sensorineural hearing loss. The twelfth contribution by Gois, Gois, Pereira and Taguchi about State mental and impacto f the tinnitus in the elderly.

Speech disorders and grade retention in elementary isthe thirteenth study from Goulart and Chiari. The fourteenth study is from Gonçalvesand Crenitte about Conceptions of elementar school teachers about learning disorders. Ribeiroand Lamônica present the ifteenth study is about Communicative

abilities in premature and extreme premature infants.

The sixteenth contribution by Flores and Souza is on Dialogue between parents and development risk babies. The study entitled Assessment of language after stroke in adults in the state of Sergipe is the seventeenth contribution authored by Arruda, Reis and Fonseca. Andrade, Silva-Munhoz and Limongi present the eighteenth study entitled The use of augmentative and alternative communication in morphosyntax intervention in adolescent with Down Syndrome.

The authors Alves, Souza, Souza, Lodi, Ferreira, Siqueira and Celeste present the nineteenth study on Phonological processing in individuals with attention deicit hyperactivity disorder. Neu, Silva, Mezzomo e Busanello-Stella present the twentieth study on Breastfeeding: relations with sucking habits and socioeconomic aspects of the family. Lopes, Godoy, Motta, Gonzalez, Fernandes, Giannasi, Ferrari and Bussadori present the twenty-irst study about Evaluation of the association between temporomandibular disorder and vertical dimension of occlusion in children and adolescents aged seven to 12 years. Perceptual and nasometric assessment of hypernasality after intravelar veloplsty for surgical management of velopharyngeal insuficiency: long-term effects is the twenty-second study by Yamashita, Silva, Fukushiro and Trindade. Matsumura, Tonisi, Vecina, Inocêncio, Guimarães and Nemr present the twenty-third study entitled Perception of the bed partner and the individual suffering from snoring/osas before and after speech therapy. Brusco and Delgado present the twenty-fourth study entitled Characterization of the feeding development of preterm infants between three and twelve

months.

The twenty-ifth contribution about Investigation of an alimentation system in premature newborns from gustatory stimulation is from Medeiros, Alvelos, Sá, Barros and Raposo. Evaluation of the auditory system of farm workers exposed to pesticides by Kós, Miranda, Meyer and Guimarães is the twenty-sixth contribution. Lopes, Lima, Silva, Almeida and Almeida present the twenty-seventh contribution entitled Listeners’ preferences regarding the regional accent on formal and informal communication

context. Paes, Zambon and Behlau present the twenty-eighth contribution on Signs and symptoms of the autonomic dysfunction in teachers.Vocal self-assessment and auditory-perceptual assessment of voice in women with thyroid disease from Costa and Pernambuco is the twenty-ninth contribution.

Speech language pathology and audiology as a higher education option: exploratory study is the thirtieth contribution by Guigen, Zabeu, Freire, Campos, Felix and Ferrari.

The thirty-irst study is a literature review article about The speech therapist gets sick: Burnout Syndrome and hospital speech therapy authored by Nóbrega and Barboza. The thirty-second study is from Silva, Silveira, Curado, Linhares and Griz about Monitoring for newborn hearing screening programmes: an integrative review.

The thirty-third contribution is a case report on Speech, language and hearing sciences and mental health: redirecting the work according to psychosocial care authored by Arce. The case report entitled Communicative evolution in twins with language delay is the thirty-fourth study present by Gejão, Nicolielo, Gonçalves, Maximino and Lopes-Herrera. The generalization through the treatment with fricatives: favorable environments unfavorable and neutral environments authored by Wiethan and Mota is the thirty-ifth contribution.
