RESOLUTION

CD7.R25

PLACE AND DATE OF THE XIV PSC

THE 7th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Taking into account Article 7 of the Constitution of the Pan American Sanitary Organization and

Resolution XXIII of the XIII Pan American Sanitary Conference; and

Considering that the Government of the Republic of Chile has expressed, through its Representative

on the Directing Council, the wish that the XIV Pan American Sanitary Conference be held in

Santiago, Chile,

RESOLVES

1. To select Santiago, Chile, as the site of the XIV Pan American Sanitary Conference.

2. To request the Government of Chile and the Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau to set,

by mutual agreement, the exact date in 1954 on which the Conference shall meet.

3. To express to the Government of the Republic of Chile its appreciation of this generous

invitation.
