Higher Education Standards

Practical Training

Its implementation is monitored by the Service for practical training and employment of students and graduates of the University. The organizer and basis for the pedagogical practice of students of the third educational and scientific level is the department of the university to which they are assigned.

Students’ Research Work

The content of teaching practice, organizational basis, reporting documentation, rights and responsibilities of students and supervisors of practical training are described in Procedures for pedagogical practical training for students at the third educational and scientific level of higher education at Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University (https:/ /www.ifnmu.edu.ua/uk/normatyvni-dokumenty). The results of the practical training are discussed at meetings in the departments, the Central Methodological Council, the Rectorate and the University's Academic Council.

Control Activities

The general management of practice is carried out by the head of practical training of the university, who is appointed by order of the rector and the head of the practical base. The system of assessing the knowledge of students in each discipline includes ongoing, intermediate and final control of knowledge, assessment of the results of practical skills and certification according to a specific academic program.

Current Assessment

The maximum grade for a practical (seminar) session in the module is calculated by dividing 120 points by the number of practical (seminar) sessions in the module, not practical (seminar) sessions of the summative module assessment indicated by the current program are not included. Transfer to the next year of study

It is carried out on a competitive basis in accordance with the Admission Conditions, approved by the Rector of the University and the central executive body in the field of education and science. The conditions of the competition must ensure the respect of the rights of the individual in the field of education.

Academic leave

University students are obliged to observe the schedule of classes and the learning process and to fulfill the requirements of the program subject. It is prohibited to discourage University students from participating in educational classes and control measures determined by the schedule, except in cases determined by applicable legislation.

Re-studying

Admission to study for students whose academic permit has expired is made by order of the Rector of the University on the basis of the applicant's request and the conclusion of the CEC regarding his health status, submitted no later than two weeks from the beginning of the semester. Applicants who do not submit documents within the deadline are excluded from the University.

Students' Expulsion

Persons expelled from the University, from the deanery (college directorate, ESIPE, postgraduate and doctoral department), after closing the bypass letter, issue an officially determined academic certificate, signed by the rector of the University and stamped and original documents of previous education.
