6. CONCLUSÃO
Os achados deste estudo permitem concluir que:
- A versão brasileira do Modified Dyspnea Index, apresenta evidências de aplicabilidade clínica
para a avaliação da dispneia em pacientes portadores de Doença Pulmonar Obstrutiva Crônica,
pela demonstração de sua validade convergente.
- As hipóteses da validade convergente testadas foram apoiadas pelas evidências de
correlações significativas entre os escores do MDI com as variáveis de avaliação da função
pulmonar, da capacidade física submáxima, da qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde e com a
