O diagnóstico e a retirada dos adenomas colorretais tem sido considerada como a conduta responsável pela redução do CCR. Assim, busca-se melhorar o índice de detecção de adenoma, a fim de que a prevenção secundária do CCR seja mais efetiva. Novas táticas e técnicas têm sido propostas para que este objetivo seja alcançado. Na atualidade, a administração de drogas que visam induzir uma aperistalse ou uma redução na contratilidade do cólon, não tem mostrado diferença significativa na detecção das lesões pré-malignas. Novos estudos com antiespasmódicos mais recentemente utilizados poderão, talvez, contribuir com

resultados mais favoráveis, assim como pesquisas envolvendo novas tecnologias e acessórios se fazem necessárias para avaliar se é possível alcançar um aumento no IDA.

6 CONCLUSÕES

Baseado nos resultados obtidos neste estudo, pode-se concluir que:

a) Não foi observado impacto que suporte o uso rotineiro da hioscina para melhorar o índice de detecção de adenoma e de adenomas avançados;

b) Não houve melhora na diferenciação de lesões neoplásicas e não-neoplásicas colorretais avaliadas pela cromoscopia digital.
