A realização deste trabalho permitiu determinar várias características físico-químicas da lacase purificada de P. rufa no entanto também seria interessante futuramente proceder à determinação de:

- Ponto isoelétrico.

- Ião cobre por colorimetria e por espectrometria de absorção atómica. - Potenciais redox.

- Influência do pH com outro substrato como por exemplo guaiacol. - Espectros de absorção.

- Estudo com várias concentrações de inibidores.

-Estudo com diferentes inibidores e substratos de modo a caracterizar o mecanismo de reacção.

- O tipo de inibição da lacase estudando outros modelos cinéticos não lineares. - Purificação do pico obtido ao fim de 23 dias.

Considerando o fungo P. rufa seria interessante proceder a purificação e caracterização da MnP e LiP. Assim como utilizar outros indutores que permitam estimular a segregação da lacase tendo em vista a sua purificação e caracterização.

Outro estudo interessante a ser feito seria testar a produção de lacase com este fungo noutros meios de cultura baratos e acessíveis.

Uma vez que este fungo produz uma elevada actividade de lacase seria importante imobilizar esta enzima em diferentes suportes de forma a estudar a influência desta técnica na actividade, estabilidade da enzima, especificidade e inibição.
