High School Confirmation Preparation

Holy Rosary’s Confirmation Preparation Program serves juniors in high school and older who speak English or Spanish. Confirmation Preparation will primarily meet on Sundays about 2x a month. We will begin with a Retreat at the end of September and conclude the prep with Bishop Siegel and the reception of the Sacrament on Saturday Feb. 19, 2022.

Please contact Carol Ann (cagaddis@evdio.org) or Sandy (sbazaldua@evdio.org) for more information or to register for the meetings.

BIBLE STUDY: Psalms: Praying with Jesus - Praying the Psalms takes on new meaning when we pray the psalms that Jesus himself prayed. Psalms II: Praying with Jesus takes a look at six psalms that played an important role in Jesus' life and helps readers apply those words to their lives and prayers today. Holy Rosary will begin this 6-week study on Thursday, September 30th from 10:30-12:00. The cost is $9.00 for the study guide. For more information or to register, contact Vel Sitzman (812-204-8985) OR sign up online at www.hrparish.org/adultformation

Ministry Opportunities - Volunteers Needed

As we resume programs for the year, an area for which we are in need of ministry volunteers is Liturgy of the Word for Children. We are hoping to resume Liturgy of the Word in September during the 9:00a.m.

Mass. This ministry requires two high school students or two adult leaders each Sunday, with ideally a 1x per month commitment.

If you are interested in volunteering or you want more information, please contact Carol Ann (812-477-8923 or cagaddis@evdio.org) or go to the Children's Education page at www.hrparish.org/childrensed.

Faith with Friends - Fall Edition

Holy Rosary encourages you to join in the Faith With Friends initiative this fall by finding 4-6 friends with whom you commit to grow in faith together during a six-week period. From Sept. 19 to Oct. 31, you and your friends will read a book, pray together, study the Bible or even do acts of service together. The Faith Formation Commission has a selection of books titles that you can choose for a community read (listed below).

Contact Carol Ann for more information 812-477- 8923 or cagaddis@evdio.org or visit our website at www.hrparish.org/adultformation

CALLED TO BE FAITHFUL STEWARDS CATHOLIC PARISHES CAMPAIGN 2021-2022 Next weekend we will ask for

your commitment in supporting the ministries of the local church:

The Diocese of Evansville. Our financial contributions to the Catholic Parishes Campaign are the primary way for us to join Bishop Siegel in support of the work of the Diocese of Evansville. We are grateful to you for your past support of this

vital work and we ask that you prayerfully consider continuing your support this year. If you have never made a contribution to the appeal, or if you haven’t contributed lately, please consider doing so this year.

We are called to be Faithful and Prudent Stewards As St.

Joseph was called to care for the Son of God, so we

are called to care for the many gifts God has given

us. It is good to use those gifts to grow God’s kingdom

in our diocese through our financial contributions to the

Catholic Parishes Campaign. We are grateful to you

for your past support of this vital work and we ask

that you prayerfully consider continuing your support

this year. If you have never made a contribution to the

appeal, or if you haven’t contributed lately, please

consider doing so this year. Thanks in advance for

your support of the 2021/2022 CPC Campaign.
